The Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases brings countries together to find ways to grow more food without growing greenhouse gas emissions.
I just came across this webinar. Please I am deeply interested in the peatland research, I just finished my PhD in Agroecology, and I will love to join any top research team working on peatland reasearch as a Postdoctoral fellow, or as a research assistant. I worked in three cropping systems of China during my PhD, using agronomic practices of Nitrogen application, Tillage management, and several Irrigation regimes, and I had experience using static-closed chamber for collection of greenhouse gasses from rice paddy field. my results were published in Sci journals.
It is a great pity that these discussions are not given much more establishment media airtime. I accept their commercial imperative is sound bites and not real journalism but the people of NZ miss out on informed discussion.
