Well, we love our camper, but the previous comment is correct. We had: Broken water pump (repair) Toilet seal bad and connections rusted (replace) Cracks in windshield (repair) Shower knobs didn't work (replace) Bad auxiliary battery (replace) Emergency brake cable bad (replace) Brakes worn and required IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT per Ford dealer (replace) Cracked leaking hub (replace) Microwave fan didn't work (replace) LP - CO2 detector expired (replace) Gap behind toilet where the floor and wall meet (repair) Ceiling vent over bed leaked every time it rained (repair) Rear tag light and bracket broken (replace) Bad belt and engine pulley (repair) Driver side Bay widow gasket bad (replaced) Rubber flap between propane tank and rear tires broken (repair) Short in refrigerator light (replace) Cabin ceiling lights had short in 3 (replace) Driver and passenger side mirrors loose (repair one, replace one) Fresh Water Tank Drain Valve was fabricated and leaked into the vehicle (replaced) Rear tires improperly installed. Ford had to remove all 4 and reinstall to be able to check pressure. (Repair) If you're going to buy one, we recommend 2 things: 1. Purchase the extended warranty - they don't cover everything but help tremendously. 2. Check EVERYTHING on the inspection checklist yourself BEFORE you leave their lot. I don't care how long it takes. Ask them to fix Anything that is broken. Note that in Winter, the vehicle has been winterized. Makes it difficult to check water flow, and hot water heater. (Our mistake) Yes, it is used. They also promote their product and offer it for sale as a Refurbished vehicle. They set that expectation. That's why we purchased from them.
Just backed out of my CA purchase today Seems all they do is paint them to hide any imperfections. More or less a "polished turd" Painting them hides imperfections & subpar repairs performed to the coach during its service life. They have no actual mechanics or RV technicians work on these,. The are essentially low wage lube techs who can change oil. The inside of the coach I was going to by had about 25 things missed during "THEIR EXTENSIVE 110 point inspection" including -a leaky gray water tank -broken window, -dangling connectors, and -rips in the upholstery, -bottom of closet falling out, -numerous missing screws for windows & trim, -crack in the shower pan.............. "refurbished" is not what they do. Seems highly deceptive to naive buyers who do not know what to look for and DO NOT have the time to inspect every thing, because they are trusting that Cruise America is doing this for them.... VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE AT CRUISE AMERICA SALES BUYER BEWARE!!! DO YOUR HOME WORK LOOK OVER THOROUGHLY COME BACK MULTIPLE TIMES & GET A PRO INSPECTION

@@faylinameir Yes, i intentionally commented on every video to share my experience with any potential buyers. In what way are you connected to CA? These things are piles of shit. Cheapest build available. Turn & burn!!! If you are in the market for an RV in this price range, you’re prolly not a wealthy person and are on a budget. Likely too cheap to get it inspected. This gives a naive person something to consider and encourages Cruise America to do better!
Can you please suggest me which vehicle should I learn to drive ,,, so that I can learn to drive class C motorhome ,,,cuzzz right now I m not having Class C but before buying one I really want to learn driving 😊🙂 please help me out ,,,, should I learn to drive a van /a car/a truck / or would you like to mention any particular type of model ???? Please suggest me something so that I can master it before buying it 🙂❤️❤️❤️
I have been looking at buying our next class C from CA, all the reviews I have read in rv forums, Reddit and watching RU-vid videos of people purchasing these RV's it seems that there is mostly positive reviews and just a few negatives. Yes there are few reporting problems mostly minor things you would see in any used RV and only one major a wall separation from the frame. The people who had the wall separation problem called CA but did not get a call back right away so they took it to Camping World (big mistake) who charged them 4800.00 to fix it. CA did call them back a few weeks later and said they would fix the problem and the cost would be 900.00 they were pissed mainly at Camping world for over charging but also at CA for not calling them back right away. All in All we are starting to lean heavily to purchasing a Thor majestic 28A from CA next year, but still need to go and really check them out before committing to a purchase.
I use to own this exact model under powered up mountains small inside i own a Damon 373 class a now there is no comparing the two my Damon is like a real home on wheels
imm looking to buy my 1st r.v. hopefully you can accomadate my income status; 7,000 or less! looing for an older one of course!! any on the lot I should look at???
Are you allowed to actually use the truck campers best benefit of being able to detach the camper from the truck? Leaving the camper at the campground and using the truck to sight see by itself is great.
Guess its back to the Motel and the big screen TV and room services...What a place and group of RV dealers that will not answer the question what's the PRICE to buy of rent ??????????? they are a real turn off for me....
Something you should do is put a sticker that shows the rv's height on the driver side mirror boom. I've put one on my trucks mirror when I'm towing my 5th wheel to remind me of the height. Good little reminder.
"No check-in or check-out times throughout your trip"... Really? Seriously? That's going to be a rude surprise to any amateur RVer the first time they stay at a KOA or any other RV campground where check-in times are normally after 1-3 p.m. and check-out is usually by 10-11 a.m. Don't expect to get to your overnight destination until after 11 p.m, Midnight or even 1 a.m. for check-in? Fuddgeddaboutit.
companies even do not want to gave out an approximate estimate of how much cost you, hoping you will always make emotional rush decision. Truly greed rules nowadays
Thanks for the info. I used to know someone who had a Class A motorhome, and while it was comfortable as they come, its outside was flimsy at best. My dad accidentally backed into their motorhome, and the front end came off. I remember thinking "what the hell kind of motorhome would have something like that? Shouldn't it have a bumper to absorb minor bumps?"
This guy should have been a politician. Avoiding answering the question and telling you way his way is the right way. Still don't know how much they charge but have looked it up and it is around 250.00 per day and up, plus mileage.
