Trump supporters make a special tool. Biden supporters use a socket and pry bar stopped against the frame or a jack stand to the left of the engine and then hit the starter. Done.
Why did you not put a ft bar around the windshield and down to the out rigger n the chassis? Like a Roll Cage. The short bar with a dash bar would not be a accepted method of doing a bar. NHRA would require a cage method on the front. With the altered floor pan you may be limiting the ability to cert the car for faster speeds. If this is not a issue, the strengthen of the front stub would require some sort of triangulation, which you did. I would have ran a bar from the main hoop to the A pillar and bent it down to the chassis. Put a cross bar from side to side, like a dash bar. You did ask for input in one of your previous video's. I have been following your build and it brings back memories of when I did a few cars in the 90's. Keep up the good work. We are enjoying the videos. Thanks😊
Great question. The one thing I have learned is it would have been way easier to have gutted the factory floors all together and build a complete chassis from the start...All well, next build. The car at the fastest should be 11's... probably like a 12. I wanted it to have the feel of a race car but still make it easier to get in and out of. That is why I didn't put a halo or the A pillar bars in. But they can be added in the future if I decide to throw a blow BBC at it. I also lower the angle of the door bars as well. I'll cover all of this in a future episode. The main goals with the car is very simple, Gasser, open headers, Ice cream trips with the family and the potential wheelie from the stop light, LOL. Basically, disturb the peace everywhere we go in it... Thanks for the question and input. Please provide me with input if you got it. This is all very new to me and for the most part I'm figuring things out as I go.

Thanks for the content. Im in the process of building a 61 Buick special same platform i believe. I’ve done exactly what your doing now. I’m fabbing the motor in now but trying to keep engine height down so I don’t have hood clearance issues due to the motor sitting so low in that subframe originally and the new rails make it too high! Just food for thought!
I appreciate the input. Thanks. I'm in that exact spot now. Man, I sure wish I had a plastic engine,lol.. next video I'm going to talk more detail on how I set it up. I did have some issues.
