There are 3 atlas missile bases in washington state , warden , odessa , and royal city . The missiles where on carrier that took the missle up to the surface then from there it would launch . Took 15 minutes to prep for launch and fueling was the most dangerous part . Odessa site is dry
I’ve been having my 2017 sierra for 2 years. Been dealing with this issue for a year. Been putting it off thinking it was going to be a hassle. But I’ve already had the compressor and radiator replaced and now I’m sick of undoing my negative side of the battery every time the sensor goes out. This truck has been giving me nothing but problems. I wonder what’s next? I will say this video is great. Follow it step by step. Always my biggest problem is CLIPS! Idk if I’m the only one that always has problems with clips, but they’re a pain in the butt!
@@TheBrothersWorkshop it’s really not that bad . My brother has the 6.2 and I really like that one . My power stroke is the power house. But doesn’t ride like my Silverado. What kills me is what they say you can tow with my truck. Not on a big trip. It’s like 10ooo or something. I basically have the same truck as you just with the 53. I call my little sweetheart my car truck. As long as you keeps them tires, balanced, and rotated it rides like my grandma and grandpa’s Cadillac.
About the same, but the quality of the audio wasn’t why we did the upgrade. The added apple car play was one of the greatest benefits. The original screen would change and do things on its own as well. This replacement stopped that. You can see it in action here in our latest video, and we’ll be making an update video soon: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vH8cyjPZ5Xo.htmlsi=riUawJwOiwiAGgRU
Been in both of these back when I was High School. We used to go in them, drink beer and smoke weed. The first one you were in looks like it's the one on the east side of Roswell past Comanche Hill. We could never get all the way down in that one. The second one you were in looks like the one West of Roswell. We would go out there at night and climb all the way down. Back then there wasn't any LED flashlights, it was the old school incandescent ones with the D size batteries that didn't put out much light. So it was creepy! I remember that green control cabinet at the bottom and the water looks same. That was almost 50 years ago! It's amazing what you do when you're a crazy teenager and think you're invincible. That pipe that is sticking out 12:23. I had a friend climb out on that thing while drunk. It was insane! Thanks for the video, it brings back memories of some crazy times.
Yes it did! We also made several other videos about this same issue, so you can check out the other videos if you feel like you need more information or detail.
@@TheBrothersWorkshop so it worked since tuesday and today on my way home from work the AC stopped blowing cold. The gage is still working and no fan now but AC stopped
It's on the way. Dave is planing one in the next few weeks... For now you can see it in our next video that comes out this week. He still runs this unit and is happy with how it works.
It's held up well! Dave is currently planning a 1 year update video for this headunit, and be on the look out for our latest video dropping this week where you can see he still has it installed and it's working well.
If it is installed correctly it shouldn't have an issue. You could try the camera settings, or the input settings for the unit itself. There are several preprogramed features to help center the camera on the new head unit. The issue may be that your not centered or so far off it doesn't show. Check with the manufacturer on how this is done.
Transmissions, injectors, shocks, ac units are proto technology. This crap is typical us corporations junk. Enough to love and plenty to keep you buying and repairing. Reminds me of my 67 H.D. shovelhead. Ride 1k and repair.
Thanks for the video. 4:12 You guys should buy a caulking gun instead of monkeying around with a little tube. A caulking gun will give you a much better bead with better control. Cheers.
I just got a 2018 Silverado, the mileage when I got the truck is 48,000 miles, basically I like the truck, recently I have had a starting issue, would turn the key and just get a click, replaced the battery, that wasn’t the problem, replaced the relay, still nothing. Then I removed the starter, when I energized the starter on the bench everything seemed to work fine, even took to auto parts store they tested and could find nothing wrong, during all this running around I noticed one of the terminals had some green residue on it, so I removed all the electrical connections and cleaned them, put the starter back in and has been working.
That green stuff is corrosion. It's very common on all vehicles, not just these trucks. making sure all of your terminals are clean is part of preventative maintenance. This corrosion can be found on the battery and the starter. Definitely the first thing you should check when having these problems.
Replaced mine just now. 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500- Thanks for the DIY video. Easy fix ! Appreciate that you listed the tools needed , as I needed to insure had those while I was picking up the part.
