A place where viewers can take part in the journey of rediscovering their Nostalgic Toys from their childhood. My passion is collecting Toys and Video Games and I want to share some of what I've learned and picked up over these years. I'm constantly Hunting for more and More. The lines that I love the most are Gi Joes, Heman/MOTU, MUSCLE MEN, Nintendo, and many many more.
Shit. This sounds a lot like me. Ive been sober for 2 years, 3 months from alcohol and hard-core drugs. Ive been a collector my whole life. I now have 10's of thousands of action figures and comics. Almost everything is on display, but im running out of room. Ive really been able to grow my collection since sobriety. I do have a very addictive personality, and ive been afraid that ive traded one addiction for another. I rationalize getting new stuff a lot because I spend so much less money on toys than I did on drugs. Im listening to what you're saying and realizing that I need to make some changes so my hobby doesnt become a burden on my family.
great video man and I can definitely relate! The last year or so I started selling off more stuff from my pickups and even stuff from my personal collection. I figured most of the stuff I pick up I can always find again later on if I end up regretting selling it but so far I haven't felt that way about anything so it feels good to clear stuff out time to time!
Remember as a Christian Jesus points out that where your treasure is that’s where your heart will be and he wants our treasures to be in heaven and not on earthly possessions that you can’t take with you when you pass on.
When the video started you talked about a guy wanting to sell you stuff and he asked you if you collected and wanted it. You made it sound like you wanted it for your collection as that's what he asked you, but come to find out you just wanted to profit and triple your money as you say.
Thank you both for this… Your wife is amazing. You are both right about everything you said I am still very sad even after six months now of being divorced… I was military police for five years in the army… Then later down the road in 2005 I married my now ex-wife in 2007 after we dated for two years and we got married and she became a travel nurse RN… we were married for 16 years… at that time to current, I am a supervisor at a Home Depot ..And it ended not entirely due to, but some of it due to my toy addiction… I think the straw that broke the camels back was when she had a friend over at our house and I was at work that day… And two huge boxes from big bad toy store got delivered from FedEx… With like 40 toys in them …I may have 1000 toys in my basement… with Detolfs From IKEA … I collect a little bit of everything from classified G.I. Joe… Three and three-quarter inch Star Wars… 6 inch black series, Star Wars …marvel, legends… ninja turtle cartoon line and NECA stuff and movie stuff… all kinds of NECA figures… threezero transformers, all kinds of studio series transformers… He-man origins line, he-man Master verse line… About 15 AEW wrestlers… X-Men… And all kinds of other stuff… now I just live in the house that we lived in together for 12 years and it’s very lonely because it’s just me and my two cats …but honestly, I would trade it all and sell it all right now just to have my wife back and the life I had before I started collecting
I am so tired of people just yapping before they open the thing and they don’t even open it bro like it like at the end of the video or they make a part two it makes me so mad
This video really made me think. I’ve been reselling toys for 3 years and I tend to stick to the slow dollar method. The problem is that my storage has also grown. Im spending money every month holding onto stuff to get the higher numbers. I think your video sparked a shift in mindset. Great video from a veteran reseller! Thanks!
Keeping toys in the Box and not even playing with them is a cuck move. You are just holding on to them until someday someone who's richer than you will buy them, open them up and play with them. Also there's nothing cool or admirable about having a house that looks like a toy store it looks as stupid as you think it does. People who collect like this completely lost the plot of what life is about.
