I’ve stayed here many times and it’s definitely the best hotel in Pattaya but if you want a cheaper hotel with nearly everything the Hilton offers I would suggest the Somerset hotel which is just a stones throw away from the Hilton
Hi Paul, A nice clean hotel if not a little old fashioned. Be no good for me due to my mobility issues. Cannot believe how big the beds are a good size. Thanks Paul.
👍 Paul,you're right, no balcony. Why pay extra. When you get the same view from the bar with a cold beer. The mobility would be an issue for some, which is good to know . Good size room Looking for to much information for wifi access. The hotel is fine, as you said, mobility issues not for you. Benidorm, I love visiting favourite part is the Old Town. Levente Beach is also, nice plenty of places to sit have something to eatvand drink while admiring beach / sea view .
As you state Paul, the hotel looks somewhat dated but would likely suffice for a group attending for a weekend jolly. One thing I noted was the lack of a fridge in the room (maybe I missed that) which is not good when trying to keep the fluids cold.
The hotel looks ok and a really good price. I would stay there, but what would put me off is the hill and steps, as I get short of breath going up hill. The views were lovely and the terrace was very nice.I agree that a walk in shower would be better.

I couldn’t get a room in my favourite hotel as it’s fully booked so staying at the Edge next March and it has cost me just over £27 a night for 16 nights. Wasn’t sure if I would like it staying here but this video has reassured me.
Paul, great video as always, go there every October for 4 nights with a load of fellas all in our late 50s now, cheap and cheerful, no frills but always have a couple of beers on the veranda area before heading along the strip, agree, never many staff but they are always friendly, especially we need rounding up in a wheelbarrow to throw us in taxis after 4 days on it😅, review very fair
Well Tim we are over in 3 weeks and we are staying in the Agua Azul and that hotel is a little gem the staff are fantastic and the food is amazing you must make a review of this hotel
Hiya Paul 😄 I'd absolutely stay there, room looked clean and bright but I do agree with you about ripping out the bath, update it and put in a walk in shower. Amazing views, just a pity there's no balcony but yeah the terrace is ideal. Thanks for a great and honest review.
I take my Fire tv stick on holiday with me just in case the tv is all in Spanish. All you need is WiFi and you're good to go as I can't live without RU-vid 😂 Bit of a pallavar for the hotel WiFi though, never heard such a thing.

I Stayed here few years ago for 2 nights it was disgusting all the tramps were coming in through the goods inward and sneaking upstairs and sleeping all night i was amazed when i went to breakfast i told the reception and i was told it happens every night that was me i checked out what a dump
This hotel gave me a real sense of nostalgia for the 70's and the English south coast, however those curtains made my brain scream 'No go away!' With the view as well it was like being caught between the devil and the deep blue sea 😂 I'd have to go out and buy some cream curtains. The room was lovely clean, bright and the ensuite was good. Like you said Paul the view downstairs compensated more than enough for what was lacking in the room. Your beautiful camera shots, they made my heart sing especially the sun going down! How beautiful the earth is. That price is incredible would give those on a tight budget a lovely holiday and it's a nice hotel. Benidorm is fantastic 😊 x
Hi Paul I responded to Sylvia McGraffins comment as when the Members first video is posted it only appears on my smartphone, I thought it was because it was a members first video and then when it was posted to everyone it would be on the TV. I figured out playing it on my phone then looking on RU-vid on the TV and finding it in the Library, History. That works out fine, didn't occur to me it might be happening to anyone else or I would have told you sooner, it's been happening about a month. Take care x

@@sylviamcgraffin3879 hi, I have been having exactly the same issue. Are the videos coming up on your phone okay? If so what I have found is to let them play for a minute or so, then if you go to library: History, on You tube on your TV it should be there. Just spotted your comment and hope this helps, Paul will probably have better advice
@@deannalaceythank you for taking the trouble to reply. I can find the new videos on my ipad but they don't come up on the tv. We have tried all the options on the side bar with no success. Maybe it's because we have quite an old tv by today's standards.
It's not a ripoff when you have been warned by your travel agency, there's a law about it, and there's info right at the reception. Been there, know what I'm speaking about, and in the webpage there's even an explanation. So not a rip-off if you know beforehand (If your travel's agency did not warn you is their fault, they're are obliged to do so). .... And if someone is curious, it's BOIB Decree Law 1/2020
I have stayed at the Hilton Pattaya many times. The last two times, no hot water, luke warm. Also, noisy as they have concerts/bands outside the mall until midnight or later so stay on the south side. Avoid the beach front rooms.The balconies are small and triangular. Very noisy. The gym is a joke. very small and cramped. It is connected to Central Mall next door which is convenient. All in all, massively overpriced, not an issue with me but there are other hotels near by for 1/4 the price.
Great video Paul. You managed to get into the Minster at last! 😄. Even though I live local I’ve not done the bus or boat tour….yet! 😊 I wonder where you are right now….my guess is abroad somewhere as you’re never at home when the weathers good, and it’s boiling this week. 😄🥵😎.
Never been to York but it is on my places to visit list. So many historic areas to see. I think you would need a couple of days to take it all in. I always thought Dick Turpin was just a made up character from myths and legends. Every day is a school day.
I am waiting for you to visit Avani Resort in Pattaya. Simply the best, better than all the rest. I suggest you book a Terrace Suite to come closer to the Jungle.
Its not longtime when i stay here 1 month and what can i say is its not worth it, there is better options in pattaya. Its pretty noisy all the time and daytime u need to wait elevators longtime. Yes its looks cool and its new but never again.
Sawadee Ka! Nice place. I experienced an earthquake at the Philippines, 22nd floor. It sucked walking down the stairs. Thats the only drawback, to a high rise building. Ka Pun Ka
