Sterke song, eigenlijk te bijzonder en niet alledaags voor de Hollandse oortjes......ik werkte voor Negram maar deze plaat niet of nauwelijks op de zender ......jammer voor dit mooie/bijzondere én goeie product !!!
Just seen your comment. Ken Elliott is my brother and I was too young to appreciate the albums at the time they were released (I was 9 years old), but I absolutely love them now. I'll let Ken know what you said. Thank you.
@@Fran1963UK Thanks Fran, my comments are heartfelt. I heard Psi Fi on Alan Freeman's Radio 1 Saturday afternoon Rock Show one Saturday in 1975. He played MANIFESTATIONS which blew me away to put it mildly. These boys were musical innovators and warranted a great deal more success than they got. Now, 50 years on, their music is remembered by a die-hard group of staunch fans, of which I am proud to call myself one.......
@@johnbyrne2756 I've just spoken to Ken on the phone and read your comments to him - he was really chuffed :) Ken lives in March (near Cambridge) and I'll be paying him a visit on 7th Sept. He never goes online, so I love to let him know that people still appreciate his music. I also let him know that I recently found a track by him called "Yeah" by "The Jets". I was previously unaware of it as he had never mentioned it to me. He said the track was a parody of Gary Glitter. The Swedish band The Hives have covered it in their live shows. He couldn't believe it. The B side "Rusty Corinthian Pillar" has the 7th Wave sound. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VMaFXqMlr-c.html Kind regards
Badass. I'm 60 now, stumbled upon this monumental tune in 82. Yep, at a party, friend of a friend, yep, doing blotter under our eyelids.. never forgot this song, had to look it up though. On you tube, you just don't run across much Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. Awesome tune. Much love for it, and this classic tune and sound. I remember I found myself picking up the turntable needle and starting this song multiple times, and nobody seemed to care. We all lo ved it!
One of the best underrated guitarists, this is crazy good, one of the best solos ever! I listened to this in the 70s, dream on wannabes this is my music, I'm in my 60s we grew up to the best music ever!
I'm just now in 2023 discovering how much BILLY SQUIER ROCKS! Geez he's a genuine ROCKSTAR and I adore him, his voice, and his guitar playing so much 😍❤ Thank you for uploading this music!!🎉
Every so often I stumble across an old band that I have never heard of but once I hear them I can't understand why they weren't a household name. This is one, thanks for posting
In the late 80's I made a tape which was 1/2 Kings X and half Frank. I remember coming back from doing a massage therapy treatment in Oak Park Illinoi, (Some 15 miles away) at at my ex-classmates clinic and hearing this like it was yesterday. Frank's music lives on as he was a pioneer though not given enough credit. And now there are thousands of places one can get a therapeutic massage....but back then, well, this song plugged into our vision, yet we were alone. You get this great high and then...."Oh well, I better go to my part time job to pay the bills. Frank was in tune with the underdog, working man and pioneers being one himself. I hope he is comforted knowing how many people he has touched and that his family and friends are with him as he privately takes care of his health. Amen. You're a legend Frank. I am sure God Almighty will have you in his band.
