You did a good job! It might not be my personal preference for my c10. But I recognize the skill it took and the time. It turned out nice and looks very professional. I’ve enjoyed seeing your skills as you work on the truck and see you push yourself. It has been very encouraging. I unfortunately haven’t touched mine in sometime. I took the windshield out and replaced the panel above the windshield that was rusty. I found a nasty mouse nest in that area. Spent a lot of time pulling all the junk out they crammed in. You can use your visor pivot holes to stick a blow gun in and clean it out. It’ll fall out the b pillars. Hope that tip helps you. Unfortunately I haven’t quite finished this task or touched it this whole summer
Thank you for the kind words and I appreciate the tips and tricks with the headliners. It has been such a fun learning experience and am blessed to have enthusiasts like yourself following along. 🙏🙏
@@HQGARAGE yours is definitely my favorite to follow along with. It helps it’s just like my 71 gmc that is even orange as well. That and you seem to do things on a realistic timeline in practical ways. It can be fun to watch but I don’t really enjoy the builds people do. When they’re so over the top that I know I will never be able to afford to replicate in any way. Our life here is short. Maybe I could dedicate a life to an over the top truck. But in the end I’ll have to answer to God for how I spend my time and efforts. I try to involve my kids when I can and let it be a family project. Teach them and encourage them to learn how to do stuff. And see their hands are as capable as anyone else’s. With enough patience
I just got a 2010 535i xdrive whose previous owner lowered the rear. I want to return it to the original height; can I just replace the springs with the originals or do I have to replace the whole component? Thx!
I don't care. At least you made sure the OEM's cooling airflow system worked instead of buying a 4-row radiator or freaking out or whatever. Apparently you don't watch internet car culture.
Wrong! You can replace both sides from above. Remove all fuse box mounting hardware, unplug headlight housing wire harness, move over fuse box, twist & remove dust cap, loosen & remove bulb from housing, repeat in opposite order
Finally got my bulbs changed, thank you so much. Now, ion know if I did the angle right or what ever spread stuff y’all were talking about, but I guess I’ll find out
So if for some reason you need to raise it up like if your car breaks down and a tow truck is with the air suspense. Can you still raise it up and if so, how many inches?
Looks very nice but this is purely cosmetic obviously right? There is no way any of those attachment points withstand actual forces generated at the speeds splitters are designed for.
Do you know y the ad a fuse closest to the battery would constantly blow and ive cut and replaced connectors and also changed the compressor check valve
@@HQGARAGE how many km? I’m about 2000 km into being bagged on my 440xi and no issues too but everyone keeps telling me I eventually will lol. What psi do you drive at? I drive at 55/110
Pretty sweet dude just ordered.Mine should be here in a few weeks. It's going on in Mercedes c.L little skeptical about putting the tank on the deck lid though
