A half hour with Paul Di'Anno and not a single question about his post Maiden stuff ? (Killers, Battlezone). The man is probably tired of the same old Maiden questions
Thank you Get Heavy UK for having Aïcha on for an interview! Stevie is a great host, and loved the questions he had selected to learn more about Aïcha's background and of the band!!
shoulda asked him about fucking over Eclipse records to sign with Universal , cutting out their manager Mitch in the deal , how anyone who sells enough merch can become a band member , how they turned down Roadrunner records offer because of the merch split and then Roadrunner signed Slipknot almost immediatly after , how Jeff Hatrix is suing him for unpaid royalties , etc. etc.
It came across to me at times that the lyrics came across as pro-God at times. Unless I'm wrong. I remember Our Apologies, and Carry On music video. Remember in Our Apologies, Let God be the Judge and jury be His Son as for the whole song
Long time fan. Not sure why he's in mask given we've seen everyone unmasked but I know that's the mushroomhead way. I'm excited for the album but I'm tired of people always blaming the devil for their own actions. Maybe that's the point. Exposing how people project blame on anything but themselves. Not to mention that god brought evil, not the devil. Anyway, can't wait for the album.
Mushroomhead is the Iced Earth of Cleveland, irrelevant and unremarkable. There is a reason Skinny is appearing on a podcast with under 1K subscribers. This comment is not to put down the host but just to point out how irrelevant Mushroomhead is. I'm from Cleveland and we don't GAF about this washed-up band. But when you got a coke habit, allegedly, I guess you have to do what you need to do keep the fix going...
Ig you haven't seen what the Halloween show looks like every year. They still do really well in Cleveland and they just finished their eu tour but yea sure.... irrelevant.
based off the album title, cover art, and three singles and (2) music videos released all seem to be anti-Christian / pro-Devil this time around. portraits of babies in distress, goat pentagram on mask, blasphemy of Christ on the cross, "godd*mn" mentioned on two singles.
Firstly my friend, thank you for sharing your thoughts Now, the use of shocking and provocative visuals, combined with explicit lyrics, certainly lends itself to this interpretation. However, it's essential to remember that art is subjective. What one person perceives as a blasphemous attack on Christianity, another might see as a powerful critique of societal ills or a personal exploration of dark themes. The album title, coupled with the band's potential commentary on societal issues, could be seen as a metaphor for the destructive influence of technology and its ability to manipulate and control. Ultimately, the true meaning of Call the Devil lies in the eye of the beholder. The band's intention may never be fully revealed, and that's part of the beauty of art. It provokes thought, discussion, and personal interpretation.
Thanks for showing new bands for an English extreme metal fan from Mexico there's nothing like found new music...this melodic death metal is freaking great...any chances of having Ar'lyxkq'wr? I think they are the next level in metal music...cheers mate!
Unfortunately no mate...apart fromc their record label (The Centipede Abyss) and the link to listen their work... music.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_W58vYKkQ00.html&si=SH89Xdqp42p5FSvM I haven't nothing else mate...SORRY...@@getheavyuk
Sadly A.I is creeping more into artwork for metal / punk bands and it's putting artists out of a job. Some artists even work for free or on the cheap, which is also killing the industry. Keep it fair or A.I will fully take over the creative roles. Great interview.
I just discovered this channel I'm a Mexican metal lover and my fav is the 🇬🇧 so thanks for the help finding the finnest... in this case I really enjoyed Vulgar Dissection first record so I'll be waiting for the next one now! Sounds like it will be sick
Wow! That's amazing thank you for the kind words and glad to be able to help. Stay Tuned as we have more interviews coming with Legends such as Max Cavalera , Antony Abaddon Bray and many more
