The tool I recommend for audio editing is Total Recorder. A tip about recording: Mp3 raises the pitch and makes some voices unpleasant. I try to use mp3Pro or wave or Dolby AC3, which don't have that problem.
When people use words life the greatest about a particular artist, I wonder if they are tooting their own horn or really students of the blues. I can name 30 people in the vein that all deserve that moniker. Can you say Leadbelly? The list goes on and on man.
This is why RU-vid is so GREAT! The music lives on! From Wikipedia: Dick and Dee Dee (or Dick and Deedee) are an American singer-songwriter duo who reached popularity in the early to mid-1960s. The group was founded by California classmates Richard Gosting and Mary Sperling. They eventually changed their names to Dick St. John and Dee Dee Sperling (currently Dee Dee Phelps). They had their first hit in 1961 when "The Mountain's High" reached No. 2 on the Billboard 100. They toured with the Beach Boys and opened for the Rolling Stones during the Stones's 1964 tour of California. Regulars on the show Shindig!, the duo had multiple hit songs before St. John and Sperling disbanded in 1969. In the 1980s, St. John toured with his wife, Sandy. Dick St. John died on December 27, 2003, after a fall at his home. Dee Dee Phelps began performing with actor/singer Michael Dunn as Dick and Dee Dee in 2008, appearing in large doo wop and rock and roll shows throughout the United States.
Thanks, I remember them clearly back in the day with their unique sound and really like Dee Dee’s longish hair and lipstick here so characteristic of many of the cutest girls of the 60s - including my wife when we first knew each other in high school over 50 years ago.
Dennis Day sang this song two different times on the Jack Benny radio show. I would love to get the one from the late 40s. The song, by the way, is from Annie Get Your Gun by Irving Berlin.
A superb music video created from a cute 72-year-old song that I believe was never recorded, perfectly matched with a different dance video. Great work!
She definitely had that 60s longer hair with bangs look, clear lip gloss, and that natural look. Damn! She looks like my wife - the prettiest, smart girl in high school. Coming up on our 49th wedding anniversary.
I have, ( What I believe is her first record ) up on my channel... "When You Wish Upon A Star" ...so great, even in her young years ! (Known as "Little Linda" She is great!
