Would you say that ABS is absolutely crucial? I'm looking at a 2019 scout bobber with no ABS, but in perfect condition and I'm hesitant about pulling the trigger.
Nice review! Nice bike too! I'm picking up a 2024 Indian Scout Bobber in the next week or two. Just waiting for my Vance and Hines twin slash exhaust to come in. Told the sales guy, I ain't riding that thing out with that super long stock exhaust. Also ordered a Corbin "brave" seat, but that ain't coming in for another 3-4 weeks. Ordered a pair of BOB short stem mirrors but gotta wait for that too. Keep up the good work!
Just thought of this while drunk. isnt it dangerous for any cruiser to have a pillon seat? since your passenger is essentially sitting on the rear fender. what if the fender breaks
@@ScoutBobber2021 Thats glad to hear. Im planning to buy my first ever motorcycle and I decided I want a cruiser. this is one of my questions if its safe to sit on the fender
@@soren5801 it is safe. But it is not necessarily that comfortable for long rides. Especially considering the lack of suspension for the real wheel. Passenger will feel all the bumps in the road
A company called Ends Cuoio makes a swing-arm bag, the Paco, that you can throw a few small items in. It's a bit spendy, but the quality of their products justifies the price. Here's a link: www.endscuoio.com/product/paco/
@1:39 your mirror is SOOO close to your tank. Might want to push the mirror farther away because speaking from experience, even the slightest contact mars that beautiful matte black finish. I had mine adjusted to hit the logo to be safe but all it takes is someone to walk by our bikes and bump that mirror to knock it out of place just enough for you not to notice but still to leave a permanent mark of sadness. Thanks for the video, keep on bobbin'!
I made my own bracket with metal brackets from home depot and bolts. They make a swingarm harley 1200 bag that's bigger and I used that instead. Was only $50.
I Dislike Where They Have The License Plate Mount Don’t Know Why They Could Not Keep It Simple And Set It In The Back Of The Bike Frame Mount... Don’t Know Why Indian Made This Difficult.
I like it, I ended up going a similar route but mine was more expensive haha. I used the $150 swing arm bag from my old 1200 and was able to put it on the same side like yours on the rear fender. Glad you found a cheaper way lol
