They are big enough but a bit of a stretch saying 5 meters. Andre even if he’s 6 foot is equal if not longer than half the shark. Maybe 10 to 12 feet which put them in the range of possibly hunting large mammals. These people are still very brave or foolhardy. I’m not sure which. Maybe both

I personally witnessed yesterday a swan chase off a Canada goose into flight, what took my attention was the speed I saw the swan motoring across the water, it looked like he had a 200 hp. outboard on his ass.
Talk about playing with your life . That shark was definitely interested in the yellow tank. Had that guy not interfered, it would have taken a bite out of the cameraman
I would LOVE to be able to reach out an feel a shark. But I don't think I'll get the chance. I have felt a whale. That was beautiful. I know how small and unimportant I am when I look at this huge planet, and I am not invincible. I don't have a death wish. I just love sharks. They are made out to be evil and kill people. But seriously, like a dog, if you are in their home, and if they are curious or feel threatened, you might get a warning bite. Just that they are so large, so the bite isn't as small as a dogs. lol I have a lot of respect for sharks and whales. They haven't changed in thousands of years. Haven't had to. And they are graceful yet always aware and on alert. Beautiful animals of the sea. Thank you for taking us along by posting this video. And thank you very much for touching the shark, showing everyone that they aren't out to get people. They are just living in their home. Going about their business. Eating when hungry. Like us! I was borned in a small town in Spain. My dream always was to see great white shark in South Africa. In 2006 I was working in a supermarket and I went to ask for a credit in my bank just to go there. My mom was thinking his son was crazy, my friends was thinking the same, I didnt care, I just want to make my dream come true. Andre was my guide during all this travel, in that moment I was 26 and I didnt speak english but it wasnt a problem to enjoy of this animals around 5 days. Thanks Andre and his team for these beautifull days in Gansbaai.

This is not only the 1st footage (if it is) made with divers/great whites interaction, but by far THE BEST !! 😮😮 All that is totally crazy! I've never seen elsewhere divers so close and so confident with a single GW, let's not mention two of them and of that size! .... that's absolutely outstanding. Till to grab and let one self carried by their dorsal fin....I don't believe it And it was back in the days when people had stereotypical ideas about sharks, and particularly the GWs. I mean ....I'm not saying they're pet, but now we have a literature of many inteactions by professional divers. Simply superlative. I've watched tens, maybe hundreds of videos on sharks .... Absolutely. Insane footage. Would you get as close with GWs like they did? I already met silky sharks, reef white tips and also oceanic white tips while diving. But I’d never try to dive with GWs. Also wtf is this one dude using? Only a oxygen bottle carried by hand? Seems inconvenient…
