This show and Sydney in particular made me want to grow up and be just like her: strong, independent and capable of anything. I loved this character and wanted to be her ❤
The series would've been better if it didn't suffer from tone whiplash. One minute it's dark, creepy, and serious; the next is wacky hijinks, meta humor, and cartoon physics. Or vice versa. It's like trying to have a steak dinner, but then one of clumsy waiters drops a large hot fudge sundae all over it.
This show would've been a great crossover with Real Ghostbusters, if Hanna Barbara had the rights. I wish we got a proper finale this too instead of the movie we got 30 year later and was incredibly inaccurate. Boo Brothers and ghoul school were good but one of those movies at the time should have been about the 13th ghost and yes, have Fred and Velma come back to help.
I think the problem is that they canceled the series before. They have a chance to catch the 13th ghost And later they made that movie that took a less serious tone. It had plenty of references to the series but I wish they would have made him more like the first zombie Island where you have some comedy but The tension was much more serious. That's what I wished for but we didn't get it.
This show gave me nightmares as kid when I first saw it on boomerang and it got me into the occult so my grandmother banned it after she caught me watching it lol
When we were kids, we weren’t allowed to watch this version of Scooby Doo, as the occult themes bothered my extremely religious and vigorous Bible-reading mother. But, she didn’t have to worry, as occultism scared the daylights out of me anyway. Other than that, Scooby Doo totally rocked!
Well maybe not every ghost. most could be at least 1 or 2 episodes. they could’ve made it for the more threatening ghost though’ like have at least 4 or 5 episodes for the big bad ones’ like Maldor’ The 13th Ghost’ Demondo ‘ Rankhor’ Phantasmo’ Nekara’ and Marcella. if they wanted they could even given 1 or 3 of them a full season. The rest could be a couple episodes like 2 or 3. Either way though’ it would’ve been really cool if they did do that.
If the final ghost was real and it was featured in the final episode of this series, it would have had a perfect ending. I just hate the 2019's 13th Ghost movie when the final ghost was just "a guy in costume," the Mystery Inc acting weird, Vincent Van Ghoul acting miserable, Bogel and Weerd didn't return as villains, and worst of all, Scrappy Doo didn't return to help Scooby and his gang.
@@EagleFangBasketball22 but these are supposed to be demons, having the final one be a guy in a costume doesn't make any sense and that idea should never have been approved
