These are Fenrir brand. I really like them. No vibration issues like a previous pair of bar ends of a different brand I had. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XT7RQDZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@rich075 oh sweet man I hear good things abt them… did you have to buy a separate adapter or anything???.. I have the same bike btw and I love what you did taking off those ugly stickers 💀💀
@@Tjay_04 Thanks! Yeah it's much better looking w/o the stickers. I did purchase the adapter, also from Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WDRRCGB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's funny how people talk about bikes especially when they've ridden so many fast and heavy bikes. To me this has always seemed like the next bike to upgrade to or even maybe start on. I started on a 320cc r3 so that's my comparison point. Anyone comparing it to faster bikes will always sound somewhat disappointed. Well this bike was obviously designed to be the step up from beginner. I personally don't like the idea of a 500lb monster, never will be interested lol was hard enough to not drop the 350lb bike. I want one of these bad though, the upright position is a must for me. I sat on a r6 one time and said fuck that nope.
Nice bike. Great video. I just did this mod on mine as well, I noticed a leak in the mid link that connects to the cat. Have you noticed this? I clamped it down as much as I could but I’m still getting exhaust leak? Any ideas? Comments? Anyone?
I haven't experienced a leak but have read posts from others who have. Guess it's hit or miss when we purchase these things. Maybe you can try a different clamp and see if that works.
This video actually gives a realistic feel of how it is if you owned one . Actually just watching the Speedo and the engine noise at the rpm’s was insightful , more than anyone talking specs . But the lighting needs to be better , but then again that is how a rider would see things at night.
Looks so much better in black instead of green frame, green wheels and green everything. I have a '22 Z900 all black with twilight blue cowling and black wheels. Kawasaki ruins good looking Z's with terrible color schemes. Enjoy your excellent bike.
I just put them on my bmw s1000xr because everyone was saying how good they are. I feel like Flintstone with this 2 stones on my wheels. I made just about 4-500 miles but already want to change them on a good soft rubber even they not gonna last forever.
Initially for about the first 100 to 150 miles I stayed low. Then I rode it as I would normally ride it. Somewhere during the break in process, i believe 200 miles, the books says you can increase RPMs. Zero issues discovered on first service inspection.
My decision to upgrade had nothing to do with pressure. I was riding alone, and still do for the majority of my time, when I upgraded to the Z900. The next bike I would like to own is the Aprilia RS 660, slower and less powerful than my Z. But yes, I have met people that felt pressured to buy a bigger/faster bike to keep up with others.
You need to invest in a decent helmet that does make a much noise when you turn your head. The sound is terrible and I often stop watching your videos after a few minutes. The noise is just to annoying. I have a Z900 and camera setup on a Shoei RF1400 and the sound is great. You need to fix your noise problem if you want to pickup and not loose subscribers.
The wind noise has nothing to do with the helmet. I'm not using an external mic with the camera nor did I have a wind cover on the camera at the time this was recorded. I have a cover for the camera to block the wind just haven't gone for a ride and recorded with it yet. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks. They are Fenrir. Got them off Amazon. Also ordered the handlebar end adapters www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XT7RQDZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WDRRCGB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
I briefly explored the idea but did not look into it. Have you done the same? If so, what were the results and your opinion on doing so? I did read that you could lose top end speed if doing so.
Great video as always my friend! Suggestion, can you do these videos raw? I'd love to just hear the bikes instead of the music mixed with the bikes. Just a suggestion!
Thanks for watching. And I'll absolutely do them without the music from now on. Was torn between doing them with or without and never gotten feedback until now so thanks.
Great video by the way but why do you refuse to shift and keep your RPMs so high in 4th. I get you might have extra power top end but you're riding one of the torquiest bikes out there. Just curious if there's a benefit I'm missing out on.
Funny that you asked this question because I find myself watching other people videos and see them doing the same thing which leads me to ask that question of them. I have noticed, since having my ECU flashed, that my 4th gear seems to be the one with the most acceleration. I been telling myself not to ride in it so often b/c of the RPMs but it's a habit I have to break.
They're both great bikes IMO. I love the Z900 more than the 650 and that mainly has to do with the fact I'm into naked bikes more. It's hard to compare them since the Z900 is a lot more powerful. If I had to do it all over again, I would've selected the Z first.
@@gcgcgcgcgcgcgcgc I really like it. When I initially installed it, I left the settings as is. Then after about 2 weeks I noticed I was hitting some false neutrals so I made a few adjustments via the app and had no issues yet. I highly recommend it. Installation was a breeze.
Dang bro... 33 going on 34... been researching bike after bike what to get for beginner.. leaning between ninja 500, 650, and others... but now within 30 seconds... you sold me on the 650 cuz i dig that look since i saw it online in pics. First time seeing it in a video... 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
