What’s the point of stopping using an ozone generator? It works, they’re cheap, and you don’t have to continually purchase chemical products that rarely work.
Hi Mike, Since you are in the auto detailing business, I would like to discuss an opportunity that you might have never thought about before. How can I contact you? I don't see any email address in your RU-vid 'About Us' section. Thanks Shan
I have my own Detailing company mostly mobile but have access to a shop. You are very accurate in your description of the day and the details. All these people.to.are car marketing gurus who promise you 10k a week is a pipe dream for 1 person. They steal your money and leave you with nothing. Had a buddy go through that. Great video and factual! Keep up the good work.1 important fact is location. California is different than Chicago, Florida, and Massachusetts. Everything varies
That’s real man, to do 10k a week you need a team and that takes lots of time to build! Thanks for watching! For sure man business is different in every city and state!
Love the vids and shorts, keep up the hard work, I'm just starting off in San Diego and am learning a lot from you thank you for the content wish you prosperity and happiness!
Thanks for the support! The strongest yet safest tar remover you can use would be Koch chemie Eulex, I rarely have to use it cuz it’s super strong, I normally just use Koch chemie MultiStarN which is basically an APC/pre treatment for paint, it’s good for fresh tar
😂😂 If you already have an air compressor all you need is the tornador mini, if you don’t have an air compressor you can get a rigid twin tank or husky twin tank, both can be found between $250-$450
Speaking facts bro! Not everyone thinks about it or tells it how it is online. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Accounting for travel time time on job site if a mistake happens etc, that all comes out of our profit
I think what people forget is, theirs a difference from a detail venture to a actual detailing business, where you paying taxes, having money in a business account, paying your self etc. it’s like any industry on social media it’s made to be this money operation that anyone can do, but in real life it’s like anything in the world you have to play your cards right and put time and effort in.
the one part where you used the drill with the brush to loosen up dirt on the carpet is a very good idea, similar to a vacuum cleaner. since i have a lot of dust deeply imbedded on my seats and carpet my shop vac fails to pick
Great video budddy. This is starting to be one of my favorite detail channels. I would love to see more of your services explained with process and pricing. Thank you for taking the time to make these videobto help the detailing community you explain things very well. Have a great weekend.
Ya location and how people look at their cars will make a difference on what you can charge. If you're in an area with good income or a little lower income because of lower paying jobs
True that’s why even if you live in a lower income area the smartest thing you can do is go market and offer services in the high income areas, that’s exactly what I’ve done ✔️
I started my detailing in Philippines wanting to change the society of how they treat their cars, thinking it would be easy, but things happen and 1 year has passed still no customers but i won’t give up. I am currently learning from my mistakes, adapting, and trying to look for opportunities to promote and expose myself on the public. I will always believe that even if it takes long, it doesn’t mean it won’t work.
Hey man I admire that you’re dedicated and passionate, don’t give up and just focus on educating your community and society and posting videos online tagging your local area showing what you do and why it will benefit people Exactly quick results aren’t good results, the best results come with lots of effort overtime, keep it up!
I now only detail car interiors with my mobile business. No more badly kiddied vans or nasty work trucks or SUVs. Percentage wise there are more cars on the road than the other vehicles I mentioned. I spend less time in the sun. Minis are $49, $59 or $69 Canadian depending on the condition of the interior. Full details with steam cleaning of carpets and seats $99, $129, or $159. I proudly state that I am the Dollar Store of Detailing. lol...other local detailers hate me for it. One of my marketing strategies is leaving 10 business cards on driver side doors in large parking lots when I go shopping for groceries or go to Walmart. Not too many so as to make it obvious. This is sniper advertising as I choose which cars I want. It is like planting seed. People are more inclined to save a business card than a flyer. They will put it in the glove box, console storage or in their visor for future reference. Oh yeah, I can also see the the condition of car interiors. I have a customer base of about 2,000 people from when I was detailing full time and a lot of loyal, long time customers who keep me busy but not too busy.
I love your approach and myself a new detailer (weekend warrior) and am thinking of what I want to do in way of service as well as how much to charge. The Dollar Store of detailing is something I’ve considered on the lines of low dollar higher volume approach. I have a couple of customers already that have expressed they don’t mind going to an auto wash for exteriors but just want their interiors taken care of. Thanks for sharing!
i think what alot of people dont think about is the expenses, and also, no insurance, thats expensive af, and also, no 401k where a company matches a percentage which adds up quick.... also, no paid days off, like PTO. i guess when youre real young, stuff like this dont matter, but if your trying to make this a career, its alot to think about when you getting older.
Absolutely agreed💯 If you’re thinking about a detailing business and plan to be solo you’re buying yourself a hard job with no benefits lol, only way to overcome all of that and get the luxuries of time and money is with building and scaling a business with employees! That’ll get you PTO
@@callisautodetailing Wow long time in the industry! My respect brother, absolutely that’s why I love to share and educate on RU-vid showing detailing is a real business and real costs to operate it!
Bro how much should you charge for a basic wash ?on a car and truck? Did this years ago but im restarting my business again wanna charge the right prices ..
Hey bro off topic but where can I find the same type of long sleeve you have on under your shirt? I'm trying to get one for this summer heat and my job I just don't know where to order them.
Hey brother! I wear a t shirt and on my forearms I just throw on some uv sun sleeves from Amazon, here’s a link Limited-time deal: BHYTAKI 6 Pairs UV Sun Protection Arm Sleeves, UPF 50 Sports Cooling Arm Compression Sleeves for Men Women Teenager a.co/d/4xk2O2e
Did my first car interior with steam. No chemicals. Came out great and saved time. I did have stubborn short dog hair in the cargo area and back of the seats in the Hyundai Santa Fe, though. Slowed me down. I had been using chemicals for so long and I am kicking myself for not switching to steam earlier (9 years in the business).
@@reynosoautodetailing BTW, I subscribed. Now, I did a car today and I used steam on the glass inside and out. No streaks! Customer was really happy. 🙂
In this scenario with a perforated clay mitt or clay towel they’re much less aggressive than clay bars so no need to polish if you’re going to do a sealant or wax. For ceramic coatings we use clay bars and we do follow up with a polish or paint correction
I used to sell Electrolux vacuums and dry foam shampoo machines. Dirt attached to the foam and when it dried, all one had to do was vacuum it up. No soaked carpet. Customers loved it. Your technique is similar. I am picking up a new steamer today and I am going to follow your lead. I had been using a Bissell Hydro-steam extraction unit but it really was just an expensive toy. Subscribed!
Do you know a good way to remove pin needles from your carpet in the car? From Christmas this past year we put the tree in the back of the car and there are still pine needles there, they are like stuck and just a vacuum does not pick them all up. Any tips or tricks you can think of?

I can’t afford an expensive steamer at the moment, would you recommend starting out with a cheaper end one or just make do without one until I can get a better quality like yours?
i started off with a $40 amazon one and it worked fine but i will say my $100 Wagner steamer is awesome. You can spray for longer durations and you get more power with the more expensive ones but a cheaper one will do the job just fine, you’ll just be refilling your water more
Personally I started with like $150 one from Amazon the mccolluch ones aren’t bad, if you’re on a budget you’ll get like a year out of one of those 👍🏽 Then after you can upgrade to the more expensive
Yes the aquaprovac steamer I’ve shown in my videos runs about $475 and its a lot better than anything under $300, when you spend more on a steamer you get better pressure, more consistent steam, they don’t shoot out water, rarely if any, and the steamers themselves last years and have replaceable parts
Nice deal! How do u clean the plastic covering the gauges aka dash gauges. That plastic scratches just by looking at it lol how do u guys avoid scratches
Scratches are impossible to avoid unless you PPF the gauge cluster, the only way we clean them is just with quick detailer and a soft paint microfiber towel
I just don't think you can get a deep clean with this method. Extracting removes all the dirt. After you do a seat with your method, extract it and see what your missing. Just my opinion.
This is a very deep clean and cleans what we’re sitting on and touching, which is the fabric on the seats and carpets. Extracting just pulls more dirt from under the fabric down in the foam cushion, but you can’t feel that or see it so it damages the seats more than it benefits. It soaks the foam and creates bacteria mold and spreads spills and stains throughout the foam. We’ve had to remove and do full dry outs on countless seats and carpets for our clients because they went the cheaper route and hired a guy to shampoo and extract their seats and ended up being more expensive because of water damages
@@reynosoautodetailing I use my KARCHER PUZZI 10/1, don't rush the job and it pulls the chrome off the bumpers. NOTHING remains wet. I do the sit test following my detail and my shorts sitting on a paper towel never even get slightly damp. If yer in a rush, then all bets are off!
