that sounds like company driver money, though seems typical of a lease or lease purchase. why not just buy your own truck and own it from start to finish?
I drive for Pigeon Freight out of Lansing, IL. I work hard and make good money. I don't go home to Nevada too much, but i take 30 days off and two 15 days off per year to travel to see my wife in another country. If you're not looking to have your hand held and want to make good money, then i recommend Pigeon Freight.
Were you OTR or regional? I’m OTR with Crete last 17 years. I just checked for last three months and my average length of haul was 1,101. Also Ozium sprayed two times in a truck will eliminate the smell of smoke.

Crete was an ok company for me. Only issue I had with them was the Wal-Mart BS> I hated it. I told them I refuse all future WM dedicated loads, They told me I could not do that. Um.... yes I can. I quit. Turned in the truck a few days later. I would recommend Crete as a job however you will need to be ok with doing WM dedicated loads for 7 days or more at a time.

Jeeze. You can make $800 weekly plus having a good local job, probably union paying wages with great benefits sleeping in your own bed at night. No offense sir, just saying. Thats a nice truck but theres no money in it. I know its just a loner but just thought I'd mention it anyway. The 579 is the Pete to make money with, atleast when pulling anykind of van trailer.if flatbad, the 389 is a decent truck
@truckingwithmike1461 I had a 2023 Peterbilt 389 and averaged between 6-6.5 mpg. With my 2022 Peterbilt 579 I'm getting 8.5-10 mpg. When you're responsible for the fuel, and getting into these tight places, the 579 is the better choice
