Just one missed opportunity after another. Was keen for the release, but the two week spoil-a-thon is spit in one's eye. Will still play (eventually) in spite of it. Love the game, hate the mis-management of the game.

Does this still work? I’ve tried it twice now and reset my server both times it spawns in but without anything on it. It’s completely empty and no parts on it except the canvase tarp
Scalespeeder, I need your help. Json's don't spawn anymore. They are in the custom folder, they have been validated, ccggameplay is enabled, they are called with the call line ["custom/example.json"] I have copy and pasted the name directly from the file location. What do I do next?
@Scalespeeder Gaming Do you have any insight on how to enable 3PP while riding the horse on a 1PP server? My server is 1PP with vehicle 3PP mod, but obviously horses aren't vehicles.
Cant wait for the Re Skinned Map with Cherno Assets. How long we been waiting? We thought we was getting new with Livonia. Cherno Assets. Its gonna be amazing lol. Did i say Cherno Assets already? On pc we have the benefit of some amazing modders that can produce the goods, and all for free. The console however will have to rely on these Re used Assets,,,from Cherno !! lol.
You are spot on @Scalespeeder. The PC community couldn’t care less about this update for the most part. They have had all these features through mods for years. The Console Community will definitely benefit the most from the new map and features but no preview. I suppose something is better than nothing. 🤷♂️
Guess I'll be the guy. The last 5 years of console oriented changes to dayz have neutered the experience for everyone. I barely play anymore because all it's turned into is a longform battle royale. Next point, most mod maps are dogshit. Including everyones favorite, Namalsk. Bitterroot is probably the best of the bunch. Next point, Sony does not allow beta or early access. Everyone knows this, but people still whine about it every time. And microsoft is hit or miss on the issue. It's easier for developers to take the console vs PC smoke than the Sony vs Microsoft smoke cuz console players lose their minds. So in closing, cry more, buy a PC, or stfu. ❤
Personally and I think most will agree, I just want to be able to remap my buttons, dam man L2 to aim, RB/LB to peak(alternating) left toggle to move player right toggle to move gun and R2 to shoot, all at the same time ,holy fk, lol, if peak was just a click of toggle and sticks holy crap the difference it would make
but no one can't complete challenges buy doing it which is Bull Shit call of duty need's to make so pople can do that i dont like playing live player's it's fing bull shit please let them now that i know i'm not the only person that thnk's like that
There should have been a console stream. The dev team haven’t showed anything for console which doesn’t ooze confidence for the premium price being charged. It’s an add on to an ancient game that never even got updated for newer (now old) consoles. I mean you still can’t drive a vehicle without it going underground/bouncing around. This game is 10 yrs old! Is a new map going to be any different or will we be swimming under houses and falling into the abyss through unresolved coding. I think I’ll be keeping my money in my wallet until proven to be a significant improvement all around. I love dayz but they aren’t helping themselves on this release.
I dont understand how a console game like farm sim can have a working mod system but other titles can't or don't. I started Dayz on console and after about 600hrs moved to pc. With bitcoin, p2p markets, trader markets, better vehicles, helicopters and all the gear. Very very hard to go back to console. All the pc extras definitely outweigh the cheaters especially if you find a server with good admin keeping players in check. You really dont need to cheat on console so long as the 4 dial exists in vanilla. A mosin lurking in the bushes while your click click clicking is arguably a worse position than dealing with some cheaters.
Why you backing it up with whole dayz console commumity? I don't get upset if you don't get a chance to play 2 weeks earlier, I don't care which guy, you or some other, will be streaming the DLC. I don't get the chance to play till 15th anyway. If you stand against excluding console streamers from the event - back it up with other console streamers, not the whole community, 'cause now you sound like a dirty politician "peeple don't like it...", did you ask the people? did you make any poll "guys are you upset that I, Scalespeeder, won't get the chance to play 2 weeks earlier"? Even poor Marks has to jump from one channel to another to advocate whole dev team. It was their move to make early access, not the best move obviously. They new they could make it only for PC, yet they did it ANYWAY. It is their pit of shame, why you want to jump in it so badly too?
Loving going through these vids to help me get started. 🙌🏻 Players spawned in great, only issue, is when they open the map it doesn't show the red dot or the correct position. Anyone else had this issue, or know where I've gone wrong?
I won’t be watching any streams until after 10/15 lol What a great idea to have streamers plaster RU-vid with clips of a map the rest of us can’t play for another two weeks. But hey I can preorder a soundtrack lol 😂
