UCLA band looks and sounds much better. Why do they have such a good reputation? They can't even seem to keep step walking out of the tunnel. I can think of several dozen college marching bands that are superior to these clowns.
This video was funny to watch I almost thought they were about to be that only white school to come out and get lit like an hbcu band....but nah..they came out like you soldiers instead
The best band in the land! Maybe I’m a little bias ( My brother was a part of The Sprit Of Troy Marching Band 2003-2007) And the cool thing is the band accompanies the football team to call games, home or way. Other universities bands only play home games.
OMG LA fans suck!!!! band gets no respect from locals. so many empty seat with under 30 minutes to kickoff. Terrible on the other hand the LA parking police are total idiots. We just tailgate until 45 to go, and enjoy a post victory at the RV. Well University is trying to destroy that fun too.
Commenters here are SO impressed with a rather sloppy procession. For God’s sake, they have minders telling the marchers when to step off! Half the marchers aren’t paying attention…I’m talking to you, out-of-step trombone boy. Arm positions and even marching styles are a mish-mash. I’ve seen much more disciplined high school bands. But…I guess the RU-vid crowd is easily impressed.
They’re just there to hype up the crowd, it’s a college marching band, these are 20 year olds who probably don’t plan on doing music professionally, they’re just there to have a good time with the football fans. UCLA and Stanford wouldn’t know anything about having a supportive fanbase…
