Adam, I thought of a challenge run for you but I tested it first and it didn't work. Tried to break the game by starting the anomaly ending at the same time as powering up a ship for the launch ending and also initiating the royalty ending. 3 endings at the same time, was expecting triple raid ffa chaos and 1fps, but sadly anomaly supersedes everything. I had 4 days of only-anomaly events until I completed it, then a weird day of grace, then back to regular ending raids for the other two endings. Good job on these edited runs, this is great.
Ok, so funny wildlife interrupting story! Bare with me: Several years ago we came home to a water line broken in our basement. The actual trip that day and coming home is a whole story of its own, funny situation. Anyway, it was April 1st and my wife's family was NOTORIOUSLY into April Fools pranks. So we discover this water line break and we're scrambling to fix it. The FIRST person we always think to call is father-in-law, he always knows what to do! But when my wife calls him, he's thinking it's April Fools BS and immediately says "BULLSH** I'M NOT FALLING FOR IT!" and hangs up. Her entire family does that, lol. My sister is the only one who comes to help. While we're cleaning the basement I see a deer outside close to the house and think, "Wow that's close, I'll get a picture!" So I open the basement door to lean out and get a pic before it runs away, but it doesn't.... It sees me and comes over. Them it starts trying to come into the basement. So I'm standing there at the door, blocking this deer like you do with a dog trying to shove past you, shoving my knee out, and this deer is just shoving me back like an annoyed dog trying to get inside I give up and let it in, and this deer just walks around checking the place out! Soon the whole family is down there petting it. Anyway I start worrying the thing is diseased or something and call my neighbor and he's like, "Oh! That's Dolly, yeah so-and-so down the road rescued and bottle-fed her as a fawn, she's the neighborhood deer." That deer came by every now and then so visit our dog, etc. Funny and harmless story now that we knew her story but at the time nobody believed us because of my wife's April Fools reputation till we sent pictures. I got a million wildlife interrupting things storiea but this was the most wholesome.
use pause. check pawn stats specially from eney raiders to see what you can use against them. watch adams guides on topics you struggle with just search his channel he got a ton. lower the difficulty for less big events if the amount is the struggle for you. you dont have to go for the end quests but as a beginner set a simple goal for yourself so you can work towards stuff better (like have X pawns or have x wealth). if you have the dlc's but dont want to play through them dont be afraid to just deactivate them.
This has been the first run I ever seen of yours, and it has been incredible, I’m also learning so much from your just playing. Amazing emotional and intense run! Loved the only kids challenge!
id love to see some kind of pacifist/ghoul melee god run, where actual pawns are weak and cant fight but you have a swarm of jogger and fast walker ghouls with adrenal heart just sprint and rip apart raids
meanwhile they're like, "wow this room is a little unsightly... only really feels like a -3 mood though, honestly the food is worse than what i am witnessing before me ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
I just started playing rimworld a couple weeks ago and I’ve been hooked. Found your channel yesterday with a sanguinephage marathon and I’m surprised I’ve watched both. But you can tell you have 6k hours your navigation is quick in the UI. And your firefights 😅 I save scum still and I kinda Dev mode stacks of food or destroy enemies. Once I get more used to the game will def do an iron man mode! Thanks for your knowledge been learning more.
Commenting again since I commented last time.Again, should be fun. Also I am glad they added ambient horror, or I may not use anomaly again if they had not. Was a fun playthrough, but takes over too much. But now that it can be sprinkled into a playthrough by an amount you set? Good stuff
