Vegas is a mistake. They love sports because of the legal gambling. Try a real fan city like Detroit, Pittsburg, Philadelphia, Chicago, St. Louis and Calgary in Canada. Vegas is not a sports city, it was just a place with no sports teams until hockey arrived. You have to go where women sports will do well. The only reason Minnesota was chosen was because they produce the most US female hockey players in the US. They also have over 480 different girls and young women hockey programs in Minnesota and of course the PWHL Minnesota team. Considering each team carries 17 players (two goalies and 3 lines or 5) that's over 8000 girls and women playing hockey in Minnesota and that does not include ages 7 - 12. Over 40% of US PWHL players are born and raised in Minnesota. Show me where Vegas has anything like that. Those other cities I mentioned all have that.
Chance encounter Nick!! That’s awesome. I met him at the baseball training school Will attended for years. His two sons trained there too. Very amicable and noticeably very intelligent.
THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH “KUDOs” to go around to the ENTIRE group, STUDENT participants, backroom Staff of every sort, and last BUT NOT LEAST .. to the Sports Content Director (Mr. Bobby “C”) whose efforts have helped the Young Men & Women succeed in every facet of their job at WFUVSports. I have enjoyed EVERY, yes every, show. How groups of 3 can express differences during a broadcast, WITHOUT “combativeness” is a tribute to their training. Better than watching major TV Sports broadcasts, when OFTEN you hear irrelevant, personal commentaries. GO RAMS
hey two significant points i'd like to interject ... rumor has it talking about holy cross game. .. who was leading scorer that game. ?? now talking about manhatten. ... George doesn't remember : ) ... sully was hurt. ..who was leading scorer and rebounder that game .. ??
The Boomer!!! I remember him hitting a line shot homerun to right field off Nolan Ryan in Yankee Stadium which set the record for a ball reaching the seats. If Ron hadn't hurt his shoulder he would have had a Hall of Fame career. I also remember the SI magazine with Blomberg and Murcer on the front cover.
I kinda feel bad for this guy dude his career is over and he still thinks there is hope. If Tom Brady the goat only played until 45 why does this guy think his body is ready for a grueling mlb schedule. Some ppl I dunno he went through tough times with a divorce. He has to pursue what he’s doing and helping kids it’s not for him anymore his time is done
There’s what I would like to see happen. Go all in on Hanifin & Markstrom. Front load both contracts as we have the money right now. At the very least bring in a defenseman and Rico. Send Lindy packing. Give us the coach bump. Fitz does have a habit of taking a while to make decisions and this will hurt the Devils if he waits too long.
So many (Non Met fans) didn't realize its Game 7 in the 6th & the Mets were down 3-0. That 2 RBI Single was the momentum changer & helped drive the Mets to that World Championship
Daley’s “Portraits of France” is a wonderful book. He turns his curiosity on selected corners of that country and brings forth marvels, of both the everyday variety and from the galleries of the past. It is an honor to share a high school alma mater with him.
