This looks exactly what I would like to do. I just poured my floor and it looks very nice just like yours and my question is how long do I have to wait before I can apply this on my new concrete? On their website now and didn’t see anything and I’m doing 1000 ft.² and it looks like I’m gonna be spending around $700 together for the 4500(2gallons) and 8510(5gallons) any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated! Love your shop
I'm really not sure how long you have to wait. I would guess at least a couple of weeks, but you could call GhostShield, they're actually very responsive and you'll probably talk to a real human.
@@liamschoening7933 It's awesome! If you watch my axle teardown videos, I did all of that on the ghostshield-protected floor and it looks fresh and clean still... and that's a messy job.
Great video but I would recommend anti seize on pads and new hardware guides and new grease on the guide pins doing this, mostly to avoid sound from breakes
I have a much simpler way to do this! Lmfao 😂 Drill and tap a hole on one of the motor mounts and install the sensor there. Fixed. 10 years on mine that way.
I had a 2008 Hyundai Elantra that sounded like a tin can. I could've usee this stuff. How much does something like this cost to have done? I have a 2019 Subaru Forester Premium...base sound system.
How is the sound quality of the mic in that location when making phone calls? Do people have a hard time hearing you with the mic being down low and farther away than if it was mounted above your head? About to pick up a 96 FZJ80 and this exact radio set up with the option of front and rear cameras is exactly what I'm looking for
@@RM_Garage ah right on. From the video it looked polished. When I heard you say it wasn’t absorbed and you’d have more left over I assumed it was polished. I got the same prescription from ghostshield, but they wanted me to etch first. My concrete is machine polished and very smooth. Kind of a shame having to etch it. I found your video looking for application techniques and tips. How do you like the results and how is it holding up months later?
I used the amazon stuff and it's was amazing. I needed a little bit more and the siless brand had the smallest quantity for my needs. The siless was terrible, super sticky, hard to peel the paper off and was all over my hands. Don't care for the blue color of the amazon, but it's quality and ease of installation was top notch
That bracket issue is ridiculous, especially since it seems to happen for everyone that buys them. Corbeau must have a bad template that they are working with, or don't inspect them after welding. If it was me though, I would have tried to bend the bracket to get the holes to line up instead of making the hole larger.
My new to me 1994 Land Cruiser has that old car smell and I was planning on replacing the carpets rather than cleaning them since you can't clean the carpet backing. I'm sure cleaning the carpets will help, but may not get rid of the odors that are in that underneath layer.
Remember to apply silicone towards the inner line of the casing around the bolt holes to prevent oil leaks from the fasteners. If you run a bead on the outer edge like in the video, there's nothing to prevent oil from leaking out the bolts of the transfer. Even if it's for the mating half without oil, it's a good habit to reinforce.

Got an A/T 1990 3.0L and I'm hoping to add a starter relay on my trip home this weekend and then take it back for work, would love to not have to hotwire the starter contacts in parking lots anymore lol.
Hi there. I have a 96 LC and planning on doing some refreshments. Did you check the compression on your 1fzfe before taking it apart? If that’s the case please let me know the numbers. Want to compare with mine.
