We own a 2500 sq feet Hayden model home by D.R. Horton and we couldn't be happier! We moved into our home last summer and thus far, we're loving it! It's an Express Home design, and while we've had minor warranty issues, they've always responded fairly quickly to fix or repair any item that we felt needed fixing. Plus, since our neighborhood was literally built up around us, I had the chance to enter this model as it was being built from the foundation being laid, to the framing to the exterior siding being applied, etc., and I can say that these homes are built with QUALITY and I highly recommend Express Homes by D.R. Horton. In addition to the quality we've enjoyed, all their homes come with a 2-10 Home Warranty, wherein the first year is like a 'bumper to bumper' coverage on everything, including appliances, and a 2nd year warranty that covers all the electrical issues within the home, and then a warranty from years 3 through 10 that cover any major structural defects, and every other builder I've spoken to in the area offer ONLY a 1-year warranty, that's it! I couldn't believe it! Some of these local builder homes were priced into the upper 280's through over 400 thousand and yet, they only offer a 1-year warranty on their products. The fact that D.R. Horton offers such an extended warranty shows the pride they have in their products and that they've "got your back" for the first 10 years of home ownership. If you're looking for an affordable new home, or an expensive one, D. R. Horton is America's LARGEST builder and they've been building homes for over 30 years, so if they were as poor as some folks say they are, they wouldn't have been in business this long and they're growing bigger every year.
It's a LUMIX FZ200 with a Rode Videomic. I made the mistake of not turning around the microphone when I went inside so the sound is lower and I had to enhance it on the video editor.

Why is that? Because the people that log online and create a review are the ones that are most unhappy.
