One way to speed this up is to get a Frostbite spell. You fight two dark elves in Seyda Neen and they are resistant to fire damage. Frostbite is criminally underutilized in optimized play given that so many PCs are Dunmer. Just switch back to Firebite for the Nords you fight.

The silt strider guy fell off his platform due to a 'glitch' related to npcs idling stance which cause them to move slightly forward. Over time this slight movement adds up and thus he moved over the edge. There are several fixes for this, patching being the most convenient. Second most convenient is to use the console command ResetActors UESP has an article about different morrowind glitches and goes into more detail if you're interested
Very interesting, I don't remember running into this before! Most likely the last times I played were on patched versions, this run was recorded in OpenMW with no other patches or mods. Thanks for letting me know!
You could use the soultrap exploit to permanently increase your stats. Strength for carry weight, personality for free shops and willpower for 100% cast chance, to name a few. So many fantastic ways to break morrowind!
There’s a alcove above where you killed the guy for lords mail! Pretty sure there’s a glass long sword up there. That’s why they place rising force potions nearby.

The 5k and 10 k merchants here and fast rest/waiting is making me wanna play Morrowind even more. Gotta love how obnoxious basic stuff like selling and waiting have become in bethesda games over the years (like in oblivion MAX vendor money was 2500 lel. So they could buy 1 item of 2500 but even though they could buy 100 of those items you had to do it 1 by 1 because logic has not yet been invented i guess. Skyrim has the quicksave slap quickload to reset vendors so its also unnecessary tedium. As for waiting from what i heard about starslop [i doubt i evener play it myself] to wait a full day you as the player need to wait 40-50 seconds EACH TIME. And vendore reset needs like 3 days so in short Kek). All in the name of "balancing" the game making it in fact just more tedious and lame. Like Levitation in oblivion/skyrim you are basically a god lore wise yet you cannot even levitate like a normal person and even low lvl mages would laugh at you in Morrowind.
Yeah the Oblivion merchant system is pretty dumb (the Inventory management and trading UI is also a step backward from Morrowind in my opinion). Thanks for watching!
