Loved watching this video and seeing Mr. Dowling. I adopted one of his dogs, Ballymac Scala, 5 months ago today. I absolutely love her! She heard this video playing and came into the room and no doubt she recognized his voice and also the kennel sounds where she lived. She will be 10 years old on Saturday and acts like a puppy. Scala is my fourth greyhound and she shares her toys with my other greyhound Fleur-de-lis. I love them both immensely and they make excellent pets.

I'll bring my line over there. Australia is too hard to get a decent go. Got Awesome lines. I know I know how to make fast dogs faster. I know alot. She has run bullshit times. Her mum ran trial times that were literally heartbreaking. Her sisters ran ridiculously fast times too. Anyway....
The key to it all is giving dogs the confidence. So if they are apparently treated like shit they won't perform. Sorry antis...LOL don't work the way you say. The best Thing you can do is give them Time and baby them. In fact my opinion is you need to earn there trust firstly. Once they trust you you can teach them to do anything. If you do it the other way around you will get nowhere.
It's the same principle of a house, you lock dogs away in your house and go to work all day, they're happy to see you, does that mean keeping dogs in your house is also barbaric? Get a grip they would be out on the wild before we stepped in

And I can barely wait to see Karma present the bill to you for your cruelty. All those poor dogs that you consider "surplus" and need to sell (and one wonders how many you have killed because you couldn't sell them and they were only a "burden" to you), and all the poor dogs that get injured and killed on the tracks (2019: 229 injured and 74 killed). YOU and your kind is the reason that animal rescues all over this country are filled to the rafters with unwanted greyhounds that your kind wanted to get rid of. And not to forget the dogs in the mass graves, shot in the heads. And the ones your kind took to the pounds to have them killed by the dog wardens. Oh yes, only a few years ago "Friday afternoons" was the time you dropped them off and their howling and crying was to be heard as they received their injections! Yeah right, you "need to sell them" to make money. As if they were objects instead of living breathing sentient beings.
