Am guessing the cat was called Pluto as a metaphor to show how far the narrator has detached from his original self. By killing Pluto he passed the final point of return. Essentially leaving the solar system and having no more land marks to mark a personal timeline to a worse self, making it impossible to look back.
This is really good analysis. I just googled when pluto became not part of our solar system and it was 2006, which is after the book was written so maybe the cat is named pluto for a different reason
I have proven that Poe falsely claimed authorship of "The Raven." My paper may be downloaded from this link: www.ial.goldthread.com/MFW_The_Raven.pdf Or, if you prefer, you can look it up on Academia.edu by the title, , "Evidence that Edgar Allan Poe Stole 'The Raven' from Mathew Franklin Whittier."
WHY is there only two videos on this channel?! This presentation is truly amazing, well written and conveyed, feels thought-through. I wish there was many, many more videos like this, it is so helpful!
if I write your exact words in my final paper about the themes is it ok? because if you are reading from some website then it will be a problem for me. please tell me it is your words and not written anywhere else
