@@aragorn318Yes, the bec in the esc malfunctioned and it went in. Total loss. I almost always use separate receiver packs in my planes but since this was a provided review I went with their recommended setup.
My contact at FMS has received feedback from me and other reviewers. I'm guessing there will be a change for the next production run but not sure when that might be.
Nice to see a Rc Pilot with a light plane knowledgable enough to know there is no need for flaps on windy days thats a common mistake i always see Rc Pilots make and they stall and crash hard
Thanks for the comment. We had this conversation at the field on the day this video was shot. Agree, flaps not needed here and can actually cause issues instead of being beneficial.
As you can tell in the video I did have a gyro but you can also see I had the gyro off at times as well. The Cessna handled the wind well even without the gyro and I never felt like I didn't have total control.
I only have one flight on mine at this point in fairly bad weather. Having said that it's pretty quick and nimble. It really depends on your skill level. If you have more experience with quick and fairly heavily loaded airframes then possibly.
Mine is on the bench right now. Purchased before Christmas with same color scheme. Nice to see repeated take-offs and Landings performed. Great flying! New Sub!
I think you will really enjoy it ... flies great. A full official RCgroups written review and full review video will be released near the end of January. thanks for the sub.
