I think NoPo brand identity is strong. Keep it close to you and people will continue to love it for what it is because you made it. I think it could be possible that you would feel it is stronger if you had more social media engagement from the brand, like more social posts and other related media more consistently. I think that would change your perspective of the brands identity and overall branding and it would feel more fluid to you just knowing you are putting out some more content, similar to the quality that you have been and will likely continue to do!
Nothing to do with the video but watching your vlogs always feel like home ❤️🩹 like the place I come when I am not at my best, been doing this for 8 years? And still feels the same, thanks Margot🤍🤍🤍
It's really nice to hear you talking about feeling insecure about your style (not the part about you feeling insecure of course) but that it's so relatable! I often feel insecure about dressing in a more masculine way and I don't know why - because I love the style!! I see it on others and think it looks great, and I think you in particular always look so stylish, but we somehow all still feel this insecurity about it. And I always feel this pressure to reach for the skirts in my closet, or do my hair & makeup - and sometimes that's nice but I often feel that I have to push myself in that direction. So anyway, just wanted to say thanks for sharing those feelings!
Margot, you are literally my style icon! I am always trying to bring your sense of style into my own day-to-day outfits. Keep doing you! Not worth forcing something that doesn't feel right!!
I love the No Particular Brand as it is. I think the clean, simplistic, and calming aesthetic that you've created really bodes well with the goals you've seemed to have set. I totally understand giving it a bit of umph though if you are trying to target a larger audience... but I would say stick with the template you've already created!! :)
I love your sense of fashion so so much, it’s so classy and feminine in its own way. I’ve always looked up to you and your style so much, I think it’s such a lovely look to master and you do such a good job at it. Suits you and your personality so so well, lots of love xx
your personal style fits your figure which is not very hourglassy, but you have really long legs and generally very elongated beautiful shape so ofc you can be feminine but masculine just plays into your look and imo is super interesting (juxtaposition) with your very feminine face. i wouldn't change a thing.
after just starting long distance, this video came at a perfect time 🥹 you are also an amazing human being to watch, I’m so glad I found your videos years ago
This was just one of those vlogs I know I’ll find myself coming back to again and again <3 The vibes were immaculate, your way of seeing the world and your thoughtfulness ahhh I just love it all
Thank you so much for this vlog, Margot! I lived in Bristol for 6 years so seeing all the spots I used to go to is like a warm hug. During covid I walked to Ashton court everyday!
I’ve always loved your style and how it switches from feminine to masculine - you pull off both styles effortlessly! You’ve always been an fashion inspo for me ❤️❤️
No your style is SO good Margot. Whenever I feel those comparisons pop up I try to remember that it’s a joy to experiment with style- so if you see something you like, give it a go, but just add it into your current style. That’s how you end up with individual style: little things you like mashed together.
right before you talked about it, I was thinking of how refreshing and nice it is to see you so "care-free" or natural in the previous clips. My goal is to also get to that at some point!! i agree it's nice to also get dressed up / makeup & hair done, but probably finding some balance is the sweet point <3
I loved this video! I also love the minimal design of NoPo and that it feels very natural. I also think because it’s so simple it evolves well with new ideas and new products
The insecurity around clothing style is incredibly relatable, but I think it's just because you're in a different country where people dress differently... they probably find your style cool as you find theirs! :)
i think it's funny because i am more traditionally feminine in my style and wear makeup every day but i envy you so much for looking so stunning even without makeup or wearing a really cute new england style casual outfit like princess diana!! the grass is always greener i guess
As a trained graphic designer (a nice fyi… graphic design is based on principles and repetition no one is naturally good at it - even if they are creative) the NPO brand is great for your audience because we follow you but doesn’t translate imo for expanding to wider audiences. That’s the value of paying the $$$ so that trained professionals can visually expand how that progresses for you because we do this every day!
Such a cosy video to end the evening with🥰 To clarify with your friendly visitor, not all cats have collars on in the UK, but all instead have microchips so if any are found their home can be located this way :)
Omg I'm a graphic designer and art director working in fashion in Paris so I found the part where you were talking about graphic design particularly interesting ! I think your brand identify could definitely be stronger for your brand to be able to shine more meanwhile keeping the clean and minimal DNA ! Particularly your website. A rebrand could be a very interesting idea without going overboard and keeping it discreet. Wish you a very nice week Margot ! xx
Its funny because before you mentioned that about your style I thought that every time you are in England you can just tell how you feel so comfortable with whatever youre wearing, however your hair looks or wether you are dressed up or not and that is so nice to see. You look amazing in your natural state without makeup, hair undone, with no fancy outfit. It is so nice that you feel 100% comfortable when you are with Zantore and it really shows that you focus on your time there, spending time with him and that is perfectly fine, it should not matter what you are wearing and at times you focus on other (more important) things than clothes or looks and social media should not make you feel insecure about that. You will have enough time to focus on outfits so valueing your time in England with some neutral boxy crewneck is fantastic and Zantore’s clothes suit you just as good.⭐️
Bristol is great. I love that they have a Gail's now!! Also, you're lucky to have such an intuitive boyfriend. Trust it. I'm the intuitive one in my marriage. xx
Your 23-minute vlog was exactly what I needed! I've been binge-watching your older videos because I missed you so much. Could you pretty please upload more? Sending tons of love your way, Margot! 💕
Great video as always ❤ looking forward to the lake district vlog! Been to the lakes a lot when growing up and it always rain 😂 hope you had better luck! Xx
Meow! Feral cats aren't friendly and don't want to be petted. The cute orange kitty was not feral. Most likely he is a neighbor's friendly pet cat who took a major liking to you and just wanted to say hello! 🙂He looked too clean and healthy to be a stray, imo. Re: fashion, that's interesting what you said about New England...I know just what you mean. I love that look. To me it's like yes, collegiate, with that sort of effortless preppy chic, redolent of the northeast's atmospheric cities--but also going sailing and being casually outdoorsy, a la the Kennedys, or Katharine Hepburn. I think you are naturally chic and stylish, being slim and classically pretty with a sweet, open personality; you wear clothes well and look great in most anything. If you feel insecure, then just take a practical approach: establish a comfy second closet at Zantori's home. Do some shopping when you're there so you don't need to bring stuff back and forth, and maybe ship yourself a box of accessories and small favorite things when you are home, so you can enjoy them on your next trip to England. How long do you and Zantori plan to do the long-distance thing? I hope there's a closing date for that. I know how hard it is. I think NPO has a beautiful and simple, clean vibe. It feels comfortable, yet also intriguing. I'm no professional, but to me, the one thing you need is just more merch. Your own site here is a perfect vehicle from which you can promote your work and surround it with imaginative interest and charm. p.s. I LOVE the beautiful music you chose for this video. So so emotive and lovely. (if you like that kind of romantic saxophone jazz, look up a 1950s musician named Stan Getz. Pure gorgeousness!)
