Your shop looks inviting. A short shop tour video coming soon? It seems you have just what’s needed and not more. Would love to see your set up. Thanks for the videos.

"A simple stool" containing dozens of compound angles, a Kumiko-style stretcher assembly, angled mortises 😅 Great work, thanks for sharing.

David, enjoying your builds, especially the tea box as I'm looking to make one. Also, can you tell me if you made your workbench or if not, what brand it is? It looks like it's beech. Anyway, keep up the good work and the great videos. Thanks.
@dfwoodworks
@dfwoodworks 5 месяцев назад
Hello there! Many thanks! Yes I built the workbench out of steamed beech. A bit small now that I have (built) a space for woodworking, but super sturdy.😉

Holy moly bro. That is so dang amazing. Not only the detail in work, but cleanliness of space as you go about each meticulous cut. This was awe inspiring. The patience you’d have to show. Man remarkable. May I ask how long this took you to build? Dang I loved this. The audio, filming, all of it… top notch. Impeccable. My professor used to tell me, don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good, but my friend you’ve found perfection in what you do and apparently there’s no room for enemies. Incredible absolutely incredible. Astounding. And I truly mean that. Dang and I struggled just to make 4 somewhat identical table feet. 😩 thank you for sharing this was lovely.

Amazing work! As someone who also works indoors on a small workbench, can I ask where your workbench is from? I’m assuming it’s made by yourself?
@dfwoodworks
@dfwoodworks 11 месяцев назад
Thanks! Yes the workbench is "homemade" as well, no video unfortunately. the design is based on the Sjöbergs 1060

Looks great, when you resawed, how much thicker than final thickness did you saw?😊
@dfwoodworks
@dfwoodworks Год назад
Hello! I tend to leave at least 2 mm each side of the saw (4mm in total) to allows for errors, still it is not much and I have to be careful . Thanks!
