Bin die Strecke mit dem Bernina-Express erst kürzlich von Pontresina naxh Tirano und wieder retour am gleichen Tag gefahren, aktuell noch viel Schnee auf der Schweizer Seite!
An extremely interesting video of a beautiful line I have travelled on many times, most recently on May 3rd (2024). Indeed, on the outward journey I travelled on the 11 04 out of Pontresina, (10 48 from St Moritz), one of the several trains actually depicted in this video. (It was rather confusing the way the filming switched from train to train, and from location to location.)
Es gibt Sachen, da muß man erst einmal drauf kommen. Ich meine an ein fix geklemmte Sesselbahn im Zillertal mit Mittelstation zum Einsteigen zu erinnern. Eine fix geklemmte Vierer-Sesselbahn fällt für mich beim Thema "Förderleistung" unter "Thema verfehlt". Scheint aber auszureichen. Auch die Verschachtelung der verschiedenen Stationen am Endpunkt Deiner Fahrt ist sehr interessant.
Die Gondelbahn Confin Basso, der Sessellift Pan de Zucher und der Schlepplift Lares sind seit dem 27 Dezember letzten jahres wieder in betrieb, die Schlepplifte Tre Omen und Rotond werden im kommenden winter den betrieb wieder aufnehmen, ein Tessiner immobilienhändler hat 300 millionen franken investiert für die Alp de Confin.
Ich kenne nur die Linie 12 nach Alvik. Sie hat damals "überlebt", weil die Strecke damals ihre eigene Trasse hatte und nicht umgestellt musste. Es gab auch keine Probleme, weil die Türen auf der "falschen" Seite waren
Schade, die letzte 101 der Schweiz. Sie fügte sich durch ihre bodennahe Lienienführung, ihre filigranen Stützen und ihre Farbe wunderbar in die Umgebung ein. Was der neuen nie gelingen wird. Die höhere Transportleistung schadet dem Berg mehr wie es nützt.
Quite right. Especially due to the fact that the modern pieces of FUCKING SHIT are more complicated than the old beauties, they cost more materials to make and therefore more CO2 pollution than the old ones do, and they are wider and taller than the old ski lifts. And sometimes more dangerous in the event of an accident if they are taller. When will people come off centralization, stop being hostages to governments and corporate companies, be self sufficient, and have enough time and not need any money to do anything their own way? Including ski lift safety research? Thank goodnes for me that I have no job which takes up all my time and pays me too little to do anything in my own ways or anything which I'd want to do. Fuck capitalism and working for a living.
diese alten Wso-Ponylifts findet man absolut überall, aber ich glaube, dass in 50 Jahren niemand verstanden hat, wie man sie benutzt. Plastik hinter dem Hintern, nicht in den Händen! 😂
Wunderschöne Aufnahmen von einem und für einen Eisenbahn Interessierten. Ich bin am überlegen, manche dieser Eindrücke in einer Modelleisenbahn festzuhalten. Weißt du, warum bei 6:26 auf der talwärts fahrenden Seite einige Sessel fehlen? Sehr erfreulich übrigens zu hören, dass San Bernadino noch gerettet werden konnte, Pläne für Ersatzanlagen bei den bestehenden soll es ja laut Liftworld aber auch schon geben... es bleibt spannend! :)
Sieht man oft. Hat meist zwei Gründe: 1.) Die Lücke dient dazu, dass man am Abend bequem mit der Pistenmaschine den Ein/Ausstieg präparieren kann 2.) Man will verhindern, dass sich die Sessel im Bereich der Station bei Wind im Windschatten des Wärterhäuschen aufschaukeln können. Dazu gibts auf yt diverse Videos:
