I liked my Polaris a whole lot better. I am disappointed in the Kawasaki, i.e. noisy suspension tons of dust extremely loud engine noise, especially when it’s cold and heat in the cab. I bought the 2023 ES.
There's a strong filter can't see the deer due to the skin filter on the phone turned to "on". Gotta love the world of technology making everything around us UNauthetic (even nature). You can tell there's a filter when everything is blurry even peoples skin to the grass on the ground. These filters... sigh 🤦♀️
You should really completely remove the caliper, clean and re-grease, with a good synthetic caliper grease while your there. Doesn’t take much more time. Many calipers get sticky and don’t release. Could be the very reason the brakes are worn out early. Since OEM grease is typically garbage and dries out quickly, changing out the grease to a good quality grease has saved me a lot of trouble down the road. I learned this the hard way on my first SXS.
Nice video, how do the rockzillas do on wet slick hard packed hills? I don't do much rock crawling, and I have considered getting the rockzillas, but didn't know how they would grab on wet clay or small amounts of mud or snow. I ride the same type of areas you do. Did you have belt/clutch issues with the stock tires, or just after you put the larger tires on your machine? Just curious because I have a 22 pro xp ultimate. So far zero issues with the clutch, but I am still running stock size tires. I am going to go with larger tires when the carnivores wear out. Thanks
Great video. I have been up there a few times. That fire tower is a little sketchy. That hike up to that fire tower is tough. Great video. New follower here. Crow✌️
That’s on my bucket list. Neyland Stadium. I won’t go to see them play Bama there though, I wouldn’t want to get killed, besides I’d like to see The Vols win one.
So, I was going to ask how you like the mirrors a year later after driving with them for a year? But, it’s not your ride, it’s your cousin’s. So, how does your cousin like those a year later? Or, should I spend the extra money and get the Kawasaki mirrors.
Nice good job. I just bought a 2023. I added that same Kawasaki Sport roof. I added the full glass windshield from Super ATV but I struggled to get it to align. I have those same mirrors and also extended them using a piece of hard rubber and a longer bolt however when you are going fast they are useless as they vibrate like crazy.
You are correct about the cameras. However, I have a 2023 KRX1000 Teryx4 ES, I bought in December. I shelled out the crazy money and put in the Interactive Display. It will switch and bring on the cameras automatically in forward and reverse and has other nice features. The GPS works ok, but the maps are very old and there are no map updates as of now. Just FYI . I took your advice and used the elastomeric tape as you did. I enjoy your videos!
Really like your videos. I must turn this one off the music makes me feel like I'm playing a video game with somebody talking over it it's hard to hear you guys I'm so sorry I hope you fix it the future.
Looks like some fun and fairly easy trails which is exactly what I am wanting to do. Did you encounter anything really hard or dangerous on those trails? I want to take my 10 yr old there and not scare him. Haha
I wouldn't say there is anything scary on them, not sure which SxS you have. There is a few areas that are a little challenging , plus its been a little while since we have done those trails, so things could have become much worse. Trails change a lot in a little time, depending on weather and whose been riding them. I would recommend trails 2,11, trail g9 which takes you to the top of windrock.
@@rayneventures6991 thanks. I am on a Cfmoto uforce 1000 which is very similar to a Polaris Ranger 1000. So it's not exactly a rock crawling buggy but it can hold its own. I will make sure to ask around and talk to people before we start a trail.
I did that hike a few months ago. It was definitely a barn burner. It just never quits going up , but definitely worth it once you get to the top. Lots of bear activity when I was there. coming back down I got turned around in the campground with all the trail intersections ... finally gave up and just took the road back to the parking lot lol.
It is a wonderful hike! Wish I had seen a bear, im one of the odd people that enjoys a safe distance sighting! I can totally understand how you could get turned around, when in doupt road is perfect 🙏
I bought the light bar for looks and for the purpose of going out at night. We have only done a few night rides, so personally I would not go with it again for the price.
We no longer own the pro xp. The biggest issue we had with the machine was the clutch system. Knowing what we know now I would definitely want a wider machine. I would probably want the pro r, because it has a completely different clutch system. We own a krx 1000 es right now and have had zero issues
Great video! I have a pro xp ultimate as well. I have been thinking about getting shock therapy springs when my tender springs collapse. My question is what is your ground clearance now in firm mode with the 32s you have on the machine, and the new springs? Could you please specify where are you measuring to on your machine as well please. I think polaris measures form the ground to the center of the control arm bolt in the front, and center of the bolt in the radius arm in the rear. Thanks!
The best way to answer you question is, shock therapy gives you a starting point in their install video. You can then adjust the springs/measurements to get the ride height you desire. Shock Therapy shows you where to measure as well. I would personally measure to the bottom of the skid plate. I had 15 inches of ground clearance.
your first stop if you keep going up that trail along the creek (which i won't name) there are some old rail carts from when that was slate mined back years ago. There are several other cascades up in there as well. This is one of my hidden gem locations to get away from crowds. Don't worry about the content. hiking or SUP you are an adventurer that's all that matters. keep creating content...But plz don't give the locations away. us local want to keep them for ourselves, wink wink.
Cool video. I often think of you guys when I see ATVs or SxS UTVs as they are forbidden on the roads here in California - you're lucky, enjoy your Teryx KRX!!
