The RedBull team never said (a) what they did with this car after it was revealed and (b) what speed it peaked at going down conrod because Murphy was really enjoying the car.
Proper racing like this is impossible to imitate . Thank you so much for this video. These guys were characters and layed the foundations for Australian motorsport for years to come . I'm sure the modern participants are good people but this era and the next 20 years of V8 Supercars will be looked back at as the best . It had it all .
They never deserved this penalty. And I dont even like whincup. Yes, the intent of the penalty, is that the car controller is supposed to observing the entire area around the car and down pitlane, for safety, and thus is not meant to be distracted by performing work. However, that is not how the rule is written. It is specifically written as "must not perform work on the car". Simply touching a car, does not constitute performing work (in fact, it's actually possible to perform work on a car without touching it). You cant apply a penalty based on its intent, you can only apply a penalty based on it's black and white writing. The solution here, was for race control to identify that there was a weakness in the wording of the rule not meeting its intent, and to introduce a rule change in the future. Not to apply a penalty.
Wow,the Sound and the Power of the Car is Amanzing.I didn't expect the Car can take Turns that fast, cornering is very smooth and predictible.I love US Race Cars.
The rat is one of the best, do it till it hurts, win or completely destroy the race car is how he rolls, if that crash didn't happen, he would have won, or had another crash.
For a driver of Russel Ingall experience INEXCUSABLE it is NOT as though he does not know the drill, he SHOULD have PUMPED the pedal REGARDLESS of whether he was told to or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for the first lap just some warmth into the tires/brakes etc get the feel of it THEN put the foot DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember one time when I was driving down to the dairy to buy myself a bacon and egg pie and I had to turn around and quickly drive back home and take a shit.
Questionable car retrievals with no Safety Cars, drivers undoing their belts at racing speed, marshals smoking in the pit lane near refuelling cars. It’s a miracle that this era of ATCC/Supercars didn’t have more fatalities.
