A beautiful piece of music. Well done Alma. Wonderful performance & the composer herself is playing as well. Incredible that someone this young can write the parts for other instruments of her own music.
I love Alma Deutscher. She is a musical prodigy and a talented composer. I respect that she’s interested in music that is not cacophonous or atonal . And I await the day when she moves beyond exquisite style imitation, when she might dig deep into herself to find music that has the depth of the classical greats [eg Bach, Beethoven], that her music might grow much further than it is now, just as she’s now growing into a beautiful young adult.

I love Alma's solo piano pieces. They bring to mind various composers including Schumann and Chopin in this one, but they are also full of Alma's ideas and melodies. I hope she will write some more piano concertos too, the first one was delightful. The piano sonata she composed aged just 6 is also very good, hope she does some more sonatas too.
I am delighted when i come across Alma performing the great composers' works. Inevitably she will concentrate on her composing but I for one hope that she can still perform as well because she is a very fine pianist and violinist. I like hearing her play other composers' work as well as her own. Performing the great composers' works will help Alma with her own composing too.
