And to think some people find this to be Heep's coming "down" after the highs of Demons and Wizards and Magician's Birthday? And we don't even have here "Choices" or "Illusion" or "Been Away Too Long"? Just wow. Damn, these guys were good! Even with drugs and rancor tearing the group apart. I keep wondering what might have been if they could have overcome that crap while Lawton was still onboard. I also wonder what a version of Hensley's "In For The Kill" could have sounded like with TWO powerful voices, Ricky Medlock and John Lawton together on the singing. Would auditorium walls survive? 🙂

Holy crap 😮. I've never seen this before. It's the first tune I learned on guitar. Unfortunately, I also tried to sing it a few times. But that was 30 years ago and never since.😎
My first concert, originally it was postponed as Toni’s dad had passed away and then Rescheduled a few months later for MSG. I was all of 13 years old with my 20 year old brother. Glad everyone mentions their ears being blown out 😂 because other than the weed everywhere and the band being incredibly late to take the stage (like 2 hours if I remember correctly) I don’t remember much of the concert 😂. Who knew I’d end up being a huge Dio fan and jam Rainbow in the Dark as I flew off to basic training on my Walkman. RIP RJD ✝️
