Hello, I'm Grace, your native Korean teacher.
I majored in Korean as a foreign language and have a certificate as a Korean language teacher.
Through this channel, I hope to share my knowledge of speaking Korean properly.
I'm sure that it's important to learn the basics clearly and to practice speaking in Korean, regularly.
When learning a language, the most important thing is reading practice.
Please read it out loud until you get used to your mouth.

Hello~ I'm glad to help you. I'll answer your questions. I will let you know what I checked with the customer center today because there are constant changes. 안녕하세요~ 도울 수 있어서 기뻐요. 질문에 답변해 드릴게요. 지속적인 변동 사항이 있기 때문에 오늘 고객센터에 확인한 내용을 알려드릴게요. 먼저, 알려드릴 내용은, 내국인, 외국인 모두 할인율은 같아요. First of all, what I'm going to tell you is, Both Koreans and foreigners have the same discount rate. KTX '4인 동반석'은 기본 15% 할인이 적용되고요, 열차 내 승차 이용객이 적을 경우 최대 35%까지도 할인받을 수 있어요. 즉, 열차 시간대에 따라 할인율이 다르다는 의미예요. A 15% discount is applied to the KTX four-person companion, If there are few passengers on the train, you can get a discount of up to 35%. This means that the discount rate varies depending on the time of the train. 성인 4인 기준 '1세트' 가격 기준인데요, 즉, 예를 들어 성인 2명이 '4명 1세트' 구입해서 넓고 편하게 갈 수 있다는 얘기죠. It's based on the price of '1 set' for 4 adults, In other words, for example, two adults can buy a set of four people and go wide and comfortably. Thank you for all your hardwork and persistence! I have been looking for material on Korean intonation!!! We have a handbook for Japanese but it's hard me to find something like this for Korean, this is so useful to me, can teacher Grace please introduce me to any handbook or audios that can help me to practice Korean sentences or words intonation rules??? I am grateful for everything from you, God bless!

^^ Hello, I’m Grace. It seems like you're quite interested in the Korean intonation (accent). To explain briefly with an example: Unlike the United States, which doesn't have a set standard language, Korea has a government-designated standard language. This has created the perception that those who can speak the standard language properly are cultured individuals. That's why people who speak regional dialects often strive to learn Seoul words, which is the standard language. In essence, the Korean intonation involves distinguishing between Seoul words and regional dialects. So there might not be as much data available for specific intonation. Unless you have a specific interest in learning a particular dialect, I recommend practicing by listening to various forms of media (such as audio files, radio, TV, etc.) in standard Korean, which is essentially the Seoul words. The accent I covered in class is the basic intonation of standard Korean, specifically the Seoul words. Paying attention to basic intonation is crucial. If you can differentiate between the Seoul words and regional dialects while listening to sentences in various media, it will greatly benefit your studies. Please make an effort to listen and read extensively. ^^
