Good question! If the harness is a 4-point harness then you simply gather both shoulder belts through the one hole. Alternatively, you can opt for a 3-point harness and then just the single belt runs through the hole at the top above the 'Y'.
You're right, Mark--the Miata is a tough fit. But in our experience the A4 usually will fit in the Miata when using Corbeau's custom-fit Miata brackets (www.racing-seats-usa.com/corbeau-custom-seat-brackets-vehicle-specific-bolt-in.html.) so I just purchased these for my 2008 JKU. with the brackets.... but I cannot mount my 4 point harnesses to them... the lap belt bolts, where they connect to the seat belt mount... just don't work. and of course there are no instructions! what do I do!
+TheDeekmaster All of the Corbeau brackets are designed so that the original seat belts can be used. In some cases, the OE seat belt attachment point is on the chassis, which means that the Corbeau bracket will not incorporate any mounting points. In other cases, the OE seat belt attachment point is on the OE bracket, which means that you will find a similarly-located mounting point on the Corbeau bracket. If your issue is with the OE seat belt mounting bolts not fitting the 4-point harness, then some modification might have to be made to the mounting plate on the harness or the bolt itself. In either case, it is critical that you proceed with caution and ensure that the solution will restrain your weight many times over in the event of a serious accident. Ultimately, a consumer's decision to buy, install, and use aftermarket harnesses is theirs alone. This Corbeau Forza seat is bottom mount and mounts directly into most year, make, and models using one of Corbeau's custom mounting brackets with sliders. If you are looking for a Corbeau Sidemount, the Forza Sport (www.racing-seats-usa.com/forza-sport1.html) nearly identical and for only a bit more includes both side and bottom mounts and is FIA certified as well!
Yes with the addition of the Corbeau Custom Brackets, www.racing-seats-usa.com/racing-seats-car-brackets.html these should fit comfortably in your 04 Hyundai Elantra. I was curious if you were going to do a video on the Corbeau A4. I have heard mixed reviews about it and was curious what the quality is really like. Some say that these seats don't have much padding and aren't very comfortable. Some say they were better than their stock Vette seats for example. Obviously everyone has their opinion, but I will be using my car as a street/track car and comfort is quite high on the list. Please let me know! I have enjoyed your videos so far. Thank you.

He will return next month and will likely get settled in and resume releasing new videos. As for the comfort of the seat, you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. It definitely is a matter of opinion and yes we do hear from most Vette owners that the A4 is far more comfortable then the stock seat. Keep in mind these are racing seats and aren't designed to be the most comfortable seat but a nice alternative to stock seats with more grip without sacrificing much if any comfort. Hello KAP32DW. Great question and this does come up often. It is technically possible but has never been intended to operate like this. Side mounts are typically used to fix mount a seat for racing or track use. Since all of the Corbeau seats can be bottom mounted, in most cases it's best to simply use the vehicle specific or universal bracket combined with the slider or double locking slider. Hello Platypus2048 - There is actually no limit to the "reclining." Once you lift the lever, the seat will lay flat (backwards) or lean forward as far as the bolstering will permit. So the only limitation is the bolsters themselves. We don't have a specific video of the reclining mechanism. It's one touch, so you don't have to "crank" the seat up and down, simply lift the lever and you have the full range of motion.
Hi.. I'm considering the LG1 seat for my 70' Corvette, but I need good access to the "trunk". How far does these seats tilt forwards? Can you post a video of the reclining mechanism in use?
There are vehicle specific brackets available that allow you to bolt-in Corbeau seats without modifications. Additionally, the FX1 and FX1 Pro seats can be bolted in using a side mount bracket. If you have additional fitment questions, feel free to contact us directly!
