Not enough of the most genuine Bond (Sir Sean Connery). Way too much of Roger Moore, who made more Bond films than even Connery; unfortunately, with Moore, one would have been one too many. Perhaps you could have provided a clip with George Lazenby (or did I just sleep through it?) just to show that Moore wasn't the worst Bond ever. I also think Timothy Dalton was very good in the role and got a raw deal when he was dropped in favor of Pierce Brosnan.
Terrific stuff. The greatest Bond villain was Michel Lonsdale's Drax. Although maybe not the greatest Bond movie, the Moonraker script had some cracking lines. 'Mr Bond, you appear with the inevitability of an unwanted season' Genius.
The very best James Bond moment of all was neither in a film or a novel: it was, of course, the moment shared with his ultimate boss, Her Late Majesty, at the opening of the London Olympics.
Moore and Connery when they were young the later offerings were a little stale. Connery looked like a shifty criminal and Moore was more of a dashing world saving hero from his The Saint tv series days, which I saw on cable during the 2020 plague.
The number 1 is an adlib but Connery was plagiarizing the openimg of the Danger Man TV show when Patrick McGoowan as John Drake say"...oh yes, my name is Drake, John Drake." Danger Man premiered in 1960, two years before Dr. No
According to his fans, it seems Connery could do no wrong! But I always return for the latest instalment because the gadgets and special effects keep getting better. I don't care who is playing 007.
Expect hate for it, but Timothy Dalton is way underrated. Love all the Bonds but his edge is more cold-blooded when it’s time to kill, yet “A Farewell to Arms”. And sorry to all the Conneristas, but I prefer Craig way more. Don’t dislike Connery, I like them all. But give me Craig and Dalton or give me Q.
Wow! I didn't expect Roger Moore to have the most scenes. Even though he was the Bond, I grew up with in the theaters. I just missed Sean Connery, so had to watch those all on TV until he came back for Never Say Never. Great list, but I must say the opening chase scene on Casino Royale should have been on here. Hands down, the best on foot chase I have ever seen!
Lex has and will always be bae. Because we're all supposed to be racist and not have mixed friends and haven't been fighting for equality according to the teenagers and whatever academic groups.
They all had their own charm, and I like them all, except Pierce Brosnan, I found him arrogant and insufferable. My favourite, however, based on my love of the books, is Timothy Dalton. I know, not everyone's choice, but I think he was most faithful to the original vision.
as you can see the lady Miss Trench Sylvia Trench ..she's the one that started with the last name announcement and then the first name announcement and then Sean's character Bond ...James Bond...😅 smooth as silk ...credit to the lady
Great selection! I would personally have put Little Nelly ad Aston Martin ejector seat scene in the top 3 ... or even maybe the speedboat jump from Lie and Let Die! Still loved this compilation though, thankyou!
