Woorim has been developing his basso profundo voice since he got his Bachelor and his Masters degrees in Music for Voice-Classical since 2017. He left a possible career in the opera world to pursue the other music interests he has expressed an interest in, so in order to achieve this, he has been working extremely hard these last 7 years to self-develop his vocal agility and expand his vocal range to perform all the different genres that he does with Forestella. He is a serious musician and should be applauded for what he has been able to achieve with his basso profundo voice that he’d initially trained for opera and classical singing. This is an extremely rare voice that he was born with and developed, and even more extremely rare to be able to be so versatile with that kind of voice these days. He has been able to feature prominently throughout so many of FORESTELLA’s songs because he has diligently worked on his vocal abilities to be more versatile and be utilised so fully in their more contemporary songs too. At 29 years of age, it’s his prerogative to follow his heart about what he does artistically with his voice and the type of music he wants to make, as a solo artist as well as a member of Forestella. Almost everyone who has had the opportunity to hear him sing understands the depth of his talent and also the hard work he has put in and just bask in the beauty of the voice they’re listening to.
