My question is: if you knew he was coming, why wouldn' t you have already wanted to be at full draw when he came to that hill? once he sees you you can't draw. I would have been waiting there at full draw and let him have it when he finally went broadside.
One of the coolest hunting videos I’ve ever seen. Incredible hunt and thank you for sharing the emotional excitement and celebration after the shot. Major congratulations Danielle and Remi!
The only thing annoying about watching a hunt is hearing people on the mic swallow saliva, smack their lips or play with that piece of plastic in their mouth.
Amazing! My wife doesn't hunt but I can imagine the joy you felt putting her on that beast and the pride you felt when she buried that arrow perfectly in the vitals. Congrats.
At 23 second mark, note the deformed left antler we just learned on @Meateater that indicates hoof disease. EDIT: That is the animal to cull for the good of the area elk population, not the big uniform rack animal. Also, report this animal to local & federal agencies and to Dr. Margaret Wild at a WSU Pullman research facility.
Great job! I loved it. Congrats Danielle on an absolute STUD BULL! I loved the excitement and jitters you got, nothing better than working hard and making that happen. Congrats again. Thanks for sharing.
Its nice to see that 55 lbs is more than enough, every time I see Cam Haines or Joe Rogan etc pulling nearly 100 lbs I think I'll never get there. Very nice shot!
Great hunt. Love your excitement and pride for your wife. Thanks for saying on record that that bull was what your wife prayed for. Jesus answers prayer!
Great shot and some of the best eating on the planet. It doesn't get any better than that. Congratulations on your bull. It cool when everything comes together.
I watched the full video last night! Great shot! Also, my grandpa schooled me on my bow setup and said it’s over complicated for elk. 55lbs old school compound. Heavy and thick arrows. Fixed blade. Solo Horizontal 40 yard pin(quick adjustment covers you from 60yds down to 20yds.) good call out Remi! Awesome hunt!
