Just got a G27 and just now used it for the first time, after following your instructions. PJ2 works great with the settings you proposed. Great tip on adjusting the steering angle to a much tighter radius for F1 driving. Thanks for this.
Bro I've been looking everywhere for a track I saw on a clip in my xbox feed but I can't find it anymore. It had that old track feeling like classic Hockenheim but it definitely isn't that, too many turns. There's a long start straight and it turns right with white tyres blocking the forward road. The track has thick but worn out yellow stripes on the road surface every few metres along the whole track. A couple parts have cobble actually and there is a hairpin. Do you know this track? Plenty of trees too, and just a few small grandstands here and there.

I guess you forgot the calibration. Also I came here for a very specific problem. After having to rebind gas and break as you already have noticed is quite a common problem and should therefore have been addressed in here I simply cannot get the handbrake to work. In the base configuration (the one where gas and break don't work) it was set to a button neither on the wheel nor on the shifter. After that I often cannot set a specific key and when I do, it won't recognize it. I only got it working once but than my wheel calibration was gone and after correcting that it never once worked so far. This game is at the end of its life cycle and the G27 is one of the most common wheels and slightly mad studios make me a very mad client still not getting that right after oh so many patches. I simply can't use it. Which brings me to a different question. If I have to adjust global settings in the profiler, I'll have to do that over for every game I play, doesn't that make the whole idea of profiles obsolete?
I know its a long time since you posted this video Mate, but I found it really useful as I had some problems with G 27 and PCars recently . Thanks for the settings, they work great : )
The weel is so freaking bad on this game. The sensitivity is horrible, and the weel won't even go 30degrees because it's too freaking sensitive. Also when i'm staying still, the glutch won't work and I can't drive from where I stand still.
Are these settings update to be used for latest builds? BUT, video is missing al the specific settings into advanced ffb settings ingame, which it's the part that i was looking for and also most important, by default it's bad.
every 2 multiplayer races I lose control of the vehicle. (g27 buttons and wheel do not work) I have to restart the game. after reboot works fine... for about 2 races... any idea? No problems in other games
Wow.. I ove you! I have been struggling with finding a good whee-setup for ages now! Found this video just now and figured i'd try it out. Put everything up and went out and did a 1,203s improvement on the first lap. Thank you! Alot of Thumbs up! :D
Agree, but remember most of the cars in GT are normal road cars not race cars and this game is racing simulator no arcade car game! but like I said I still agree!
