This adept studied for decades, contemated for decades, meditated for decades and at last at dotage he got married out of sacred necessity. Today so called khenpos with few years of education and no contemplation or meditation marry for sex.
Thankful for Rinpoche's teaching always. Can any one can write down the question as I could not hear it very well and I wish to research with it a little more on the internet. Thank in advance.
Thank you, Lama Dzongsar Kyentse for the statement, "Buddha was not a Buddhist". As a Bhutanese, I always had this uneasy feeling of the various terms such as Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism etc. If the legacy and heritage of Prince Siddharta is encapsulated into another "ism", I am afraid we would be putting an expiry date to this great philosophical tradition that mankind has ever conceived. I hope your message awakens many who try to do this intentionally or unintentionally. Respects to Choki Nyima Rimpoche.. Heard a lot of good things about RYI.
With due Respect and Devotion to Rinpoche , and my point of course is not to have the pretention to correct Rinpoche , but just to add what Dharma itself teaches : as a Westerner we often hear lamas saying such things as : " if Westerners knew Dharma or if World leaders knew Dharma " but as Rinpoche knows though Dharma is most Precious : Dharma also needs a container of quality to be well listen to , to reflect on what has been taught and to meditate and having the compassion for all beings . French dring wine in special wine glasses , Dharma Teaches also that the container should be clean, have no hole , nor be put upside down, and a Mind of good quality knows how to preserv and appreciate the nectar put in it . Rinpoche often speaks of the Japanese elaborated Tea ceremony , Dharma is the same without a proper container ,even the most precious nectar gets wasted .
This looks like… Sunday, December 9, 2007, Rangjung Yeshe Institute, annual symposium on Buddhist Studies, with topic "Buddhist Education: Tradition and Modernity" for that year.
Probably it was 09.12.2007 in Rangjung Yeshe Institute / ryi.blogspot.no/2007/?m=0 / / khyentsefoundation.org/khyentse-foundation-partners-with-rangjung-yeshe-institute /

I attended many of Chogyam Trungpas transmission lectures 40 years ago in Boulder at Naropa. Listening to Chogyma Trungpa after all these years reminds me again why i sit. .
The great modern Dzogchen Master. Check out his book "Natural Great Perfection: for spontaneous Varja songs and the deepest insights into practicing the Dzogchen path. Emaho! "Beyond both action and inaction, the supreme Dharma is accomplished. So simply preserve the natural state and rest your weary mind". Wondrous!
I worked with Chagdud for over 10 hours solid one cold day in Oregon by Ashland. He did the face of Vajrasattva and I mixed the concrete next to him to the consistency he wanted. I filled his tea cup and stood next to him to protect him from the cold wind. He was a hard worker and a great teacher.
thank you for the correction - i made the change in the description, but haven't changed the video because it would mean the comments would be lost. tashi delek
Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche...how beautiful your natural pure display of gret Perfection is...what an ease and how joyful...may it always be an inspiration for our Realization and calm down the Tsunamis of Samsara forever...
yeah we could all learn a lot moving away from materialism give everything you have to the poor or the neighbors and tell them to do the same does that even make sense a logical man would be practicing accumulation of wealth but then again what is logic to know your true destiny you must let everything go so as not to confuse your true destiny this means everything wonder amelessly butt nekked into the wild then and only then will your destiny be the truth
To hear the lion's roar of this fearless warrior who has the lion's share of bringing the Buddhadharma to the West is a privilege. Trungpa is one of my heroes. I never met you, Rinpoche, but please do keep haunting us, as you promised. Your diction is so clear, and what you say so clear and precise and telling. Please post more of this teacher on RU-vid, and thankyou. Jolly good! :)
