For プロ2, the mechanism is when you are driving the front train, you will watch the train coupling animation. When you are driving the rear train, you will have the bonus game and couple the trains by yourself. For FINAL, there are no train copulations happening on the stations involved in the diagrams/routes, so the train coupling bonus game can only exist in a separate environment.
I agree with you. The new diagrams have more leeway and are generally more manageable. I guess you are talking about the JR Fukuchiyama Line derailment in 2005?
@@user-qc2lq4gu8q I do believe that the 2005 accident has a major impact on the actual train schedules. But as far as I know, 電車でGo プロフェッショナル仕様2 was available on 2003, while FINAL was on 2004. So these games were available before the 2005 incident, yet they also have some very easy and relaxing diagrams. I still agree with you on the 山陽新幹線編EX as it features a 2006 schedule.
Only default settings are used for Dolphin. For lagging issues, you can access "Options -> Configure -> Advanced" to enable the CPU Clock Override, and change the value to slightly above 100%. Do test yourself to find the optimal value.
