I’ve tried this. What works like a charm for old stains is to mix the baking soda and liquid dish soap into a paste. Place paste onto stain and scrub in with the toothpaste, then wash and dry. Worked on an oil stain that I had in a pair of jeans for months.
Sorry to hear, do give it another try. Was it the wand or the solution? If difficulty with the wand, try using a straw and blowing slowly. If the solution, make sure the sugar is mixed thoroughly and use a quality dish soap. Also, avoid using the foam portion of the solution after mixing. Hope you would give this another try. Are you able to see how the permanently attached black counterpart for the slide is joined to the polycarbonate material of the lid? Is it pressed on, which would mean that there's a gap between it and the lid, or is it somehow molded in which would mean there doesn't have to be a gap. If there's a gap, there will also be microbial growth, and a small gap would be impossible to clean (but could perhaps be sterilized if the materials used for the lid can tolerate a strong enough substance).

Thanks for your comment. We'd suggest repeating the process and soaking a little longer before rinsing. Not all oil stains will come out depending on material and length of time, but sometimes repeat washes will do the trick. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Okay, this is nothing, my husband cooks chicken nuggets and fish fingers in it and not it's all greasy sticky and brown and smokes when I try to toast bread...how to clean that not just crumbs ? 😭😭😭
Interesting. I discovered that just because it's past the date, *it still works fine*. I have a big jug left and didn't want to just pour it on the gravel I'm hoping to get a practical use. Ill definitely try the mirror and glass cleaner trick as my mirror doesn't stay clean. 👍 Thanks Its contents are rubbing alcohol, glycerin and water. I've revived a bottle once back to perfect by adding a little rubbing alcohol.
I had a BIG BIG oil stain on my new t shirt..I was holding hair oil and it got on me,I tried this method and im waiting for the results,I’ll edit this comment once the results are here edit:THE REPLY REMINDED ME TY SO MUCH but the update is,it works so good!! It removed the stain ❤️
