This channel demonstrates how you can still skateboard well in your 40's or 50's, and have the time of your life. It is designed to encourage older, middle aged skateboarders, or anyone who lost touch with skateboarding to become active in it again.
Progression is possible at this age if you practice, do The Wim Hof Method (look him up - Ice Man), take cold showers, do breathing exercises and skate or do something active every day.
You will get hurt and fatigued regardless, but if you want to get progress at this age, you have to be ok with that. After a month or two, your body will be conditioned again to avoid most fatigue.
If a few folks who lost touch with skating find this channel inspirational and it helps move them to go out and have fun, I will have accomplished my goal here. If anyone is interested in talking with me, my cell is 781-760-1418. Thanks for watching!
Thx man! I really appreciate the encouragement and you communicating with me. When Covid started in 2020 I was 46 and had not stepped on a skateboard for over 20 years. Good luck man. Hope you skate again
Thanks for sharing this, loved to watch it!❤that wallride at the end is insane. I never in my life did a wallride, what a miss. hope I find a spot like yours. Peace
Hell yeah, man! I turned 40 this year and decided to try and get as many of my tricks back (the ones I had in my early 20s) to do my 40 tricks at 40 years old challenge. It’s been slow going but totally worth it.
@@soakes1973 Hi sorry I wasnt notified about your answer. How is skating going? Over here the rain season has begun and now I am hunting any dry moment :) My name is spelled "ingo" but sounds like E-ngo like E-bike but just not the long Eeee but a quick E :D All the best, hope you share some skating soon :) Peace
@@RyanSaysWords thank you and yeah that is not an everyday Ween song. Love it though. Seemed appropriate here. I was overdue for a good fall. Ill be recovered by this weekend I hope.
@@peaceTRANSERThanks! Ill be doing some more skateboarding this weekend. Ill be trying to get at least a few hours a week now that the weather is getting better.
You just rock! How are you doing at the moment, do you find time for skating? Looking forward for new footage :) Best greetings and well wishes to you and family.
@@peaceTRANSER thanks man! I will be getting time this weekend finally. Had to take the kids last month for a few weeks on vacation and been working two jobs since may. Takes most of the daylight from me. But I've been checking spots as always and have a few lined up. How are you doing? Thamks for keeping in touch with me
@@soakes1973 I have such respect, you are one of these Superdads :D I literally want to draw a cartoon but we'll see when I find time, I am atm just trying to skate hard in whole Germany. I will share soon something, pretty sure it's gonna be FULL PARTS (with an S!):) I will stop by again when you find time to share, looking forward <3
incredible! What a rare Spot and it's hard to skate but you made it look easy. And the big drop at the end, big respect! Love the fast run toward it from the other video "Gotta get it right now!" after 3 years!? What kept you from it? :)
@@peaceTRANSER thank you! Fear. Made excuses like I have no time to learn the preparation. In the end it took just over 3 minutes to analyze. Once I made up my mind it was almost instant
@@AlexLewisTV thank you so much. I figured at my age I should show that stuff so younger skaters realize that is part of the longevity you can accomplish with less injuries
@@mattdavenport6505 thank you, Matt. This is what I promote. I can do the parks and flips but my Animal Chin is raw and risky street skateboarding. I appreciate you reaching out to me.
@@BouncinBrandon try taking cold showers in the morning. It sucks for 2 minutes but it takes away the feeling if fatigue. I've been doing it for 4 years. I hate it every time but it's worth it.
