An Amazon find! It’s nice the entire setup compacts so and has been a versatile set up for moto camping. I’ve tried a couple different ones and this one seems to make the most sense. I can share a link if via email at jboutdoorsmore@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!
HUGE shoutout to my friend Doug that I bought the DRZ from. The bike is exactly what I was looking for. Glad to finally be getting to put some miles on it!
I’ve got the same motor, and it has problems starting. Yours started in one rip, so you have any idea what the problem could be, plus I have to use starter fluid to get her going
I had to rebuild the carb on mine to get it this way. It’s been sitting a while now. I should bring it out to test start it again. The carb kit did the job for me before
Thanks man! It’s perfect for camping. Hope all is well. Sorry I went MIA focusing on career but definitely looking to switch gears and get back to the great outdoors. Take care Raul
I’m hoping to do a solar panel this year. The controller/inverter and charger is what I really need to do research on first. Will do a tour of our current set up soon! Thanks for watching!
Is changing the transmission fluid and changing the rear differential the same thing? I keep seeing videos saying that the rear differential fluid drain and fill bolts are the exact same ones as the ones for changing the transmission fluid
I know I’m a little late to the party here, but if you could hinge your two 2 x 10 supports to swing out under your extension, you wouldn’t have to keep up with them and just stick them under
I thought a similar plan up, but due to the towing capacity of that truck I ended up selling before I could go any further. We now have a 2017 Ford F250! No camping set up for the bed yet but could be soon! Thanks for watching and commenting
Good set up! Couple of questions? Where does your coolers and food go? Extra cloths rain suits etc.? Better get a plan about bathroom break middle of the night. Might need some curtains on the side and front? Hoping your cap works out for height? I likely would have bought a higher one. All in all good start. Have a fun first time camping!!
The answers to almost all the questions is the cab of the truck. Bathroom break in the night is to exit the truck. This truck/setup didn’t last long. We ended up getting back into a Superduty F250 for the towing capacity. Now we have a nice enclosed trailer we converted into a toy hauler. Video to come!
The only reason the bridge opened on November 1st is because it was opening day of deer season. Construction wasn't even finished, but just try stopping a bunch of trolls from crossing the bridge for opening day of deer season. It couldn't be done. I think it's still the 3rd longest suspension bridge in the world, and it takes 7 years to paint.
I just installed ny roof vent after watching your video, thanks for the help. I drilled holes through the metal cross bracing and screwed the wood to them. Nice and strong
Glad the video helped! I ended up doing the same with some brackets to firm it all up. I wish I documented how I did the wiring but I did all that off camera since I’m no professional. I’m considering putting one more vent in towards the back of the trailer now. Thanks for watching!
@@JBOutdoors if that’s the case, you sir have won another subscriber 👍🏽. I’m looking at that exact fan and just wondering how you wired it and how well it circulates the air. Plus any other ideas I can steal for my conversion 😁
@@PelonDeArizona it moves enough air it will put a vacuum on the trailer if you don’t have windows in it or the door open some. I’ve since put 3 windows in mine and like to keep each of them about half open when I have the fan on to create a nice breeze when there’s no wind. The wiring would be better described in a video, I’m happy to share! Thanks again I appreciate the support! Work gets busy and projects go to the wayside
