Thats the easy part for him. now that he has found his wings he stays out at night amongst the dangers of the other birds etc. feeding him when we get up. yesterday he flew back into the garden hanging about and taking shade. today hes had his breakfast and went exploring.
my brother inlaw did the same for my niece this year except they grabbed a pile and ended up releasing 60-70 frogs where they found the spawn nice to know more good dads like him out there! also the warmer water helps them develop quicker
Tail docking should always be left up to the descretion of the dog owners & not Government bureacrats & thoughtless emotional PETA types. Making it a crime when owners are only trying to ensure the safety & wellbeing of their animals is appalling. Working dogs will always wind up breaking or injuring their tails 9 times out 10 in the field. It's much easier & more humane to remove the tail when the dog is young & undeveloped, preventing repeated painful injuries on the farm or in the field.
moirhann cheers, but now our Millie has found the taste of it, she gets so overly excited and thinks every retrieve is hers. Hates being left in the vehicles etc. So lots of teaching in the closed season to ready for the new one. But fantastic for a 7 year old that’s never done it before that was close to being put to sleep for aggression.
Guess how I trained my dog NOT to pull on the leash??? As a puppy, I HUNG my puppy when he first pulled on the leash. Yep, I hung him for 10 seconds. NEVER did my dog ever pull on his leash again for the rest of his long life. While most other peoples dogs CONSTANTLY pulled on their leashes and were constantly yanked on by their necks and even had to wear spiked collars to try and control their constant pulling on the leash. This guy is a complete idiot.
