Thank you for making this video. Great explanation. I have always wondered why the inner spool has one side with an "L" and one side with an "R"? Any idea? thanks!
Greetings from the UK. I had this problem on my Stihl FS55 strimmer. It has the exhaust like yours, rather than the screen. Solved it by giving the inside of the exhaust with a good dose of carb cleaner, worked perfectly!
My dad still has this same exact lawn mower in his garage, but it's seen better days. He bought it brand new in 2002. It held up for 10 seasons worth of cutting our grass. It's a good lawn mower, just needs some TLC for it to run again. Hopefully I can convince him to refurbish it one day to see it cut grass again.
Thanks for the tip but was particularly looking to watch a video with the entire process of adding the contents into the fuel system to confirm the actual results of this product before making this purchase as my Toro 150c lawnmower’s engine died even after having it repaired last season but more than likely is the ethanol that got stuck to the carburetor during the winter. I’ll try it and see if it works.
Are you kidding..this is ridiculous..you take one engine mounting bolt off and and the other belt guard comes off..No need to deal with blades of blade adapters!
leaking carb could be float out of adj or needle is not seating into valve, easiest way to tell is take off carb, remove bowl to remove all gas, turn upside down with bowl held on with your hands, blow into gas inlet, if seating properly will not be able to push any air, you can bend tab of float to see if that will stop the air, does not take much of an adjustment to make a difference
