Hi Julian how is the Police check about DB? I have the Fresco Carbon installed, omologated with all serial/paper/stamp but honestly I don't trust in 95Db wrote into the documentation. Releasing gas the exhaust crackles and on downhill it is a continuous pop pop pop . Marvellous pop pop pop 🙂 How much is the risk given that Switzerland is known for beating motorcyclists?
Hi, for sure there is no guarantee. but with some simple rules you should not have to many issues, 1. if you dont have the original pipes then ONLY ride with papers, homologated as you say and 2. Never take out the DB killers!! 3. I would not intentionally create very loud noise inside cities or villages, outside it shold be ok.. .I think my bike is also too loud, not sure, but never head issues with that in sound. Just make sure its homologated and you leave it origional with DB killers in
Would love to see another vid like this with the current lineup of bikes, especially 21+ 1290Super Adv vs MultiV4. I think S1000XR would get left behind on these pass where torque reigns.
Dont underestimate the BMW XR, I have tested it I was near about to buy it, but the bike was just to perfect =)... hardly no emotions compared to a KTM or Ducati,, I finally bought the 1260 Ducati Multistrada GT, I prefered it much better than the Ducati V4, in every sense, Design, Power, Sound, Emotions etc.... the BMW could make the race, that engine you must ride with high RPM,, 7000RPM and more, then the power kicks in like crazy
I ride since 22years motorbike... I rode the V4 when i wanted to buy a new one.. To me it was clear after riding both.. To get again the V2... More powerful.. More torque.. Much more power in low rpm... Much better sound.. More #emotions and it even consumes less... I would def go again for the V2... Its btw my 4th multistrada I buy... Btw it also looks much better from the design

immer wieder erstaunlich das es Legal ist🤗. ich hab mal einen Freund mit meiner fahren lassen , ich dachte auch OMG tut das immer so^^. wenn man darauf sitzt empfindet man es gar nicht so. ich frage mich immer wie viel Ducati für die 102DB im Fahrzeugschein gezahlt hat😂
die QD wird mit der Zeit immer lauter... meine alte 2015 Multistrada kam mit der QD nicht mehr durch die MFK, mussten wir dann mit Stahlwolle stopfen bis sie leiser wurde =)

Hello Julian,i live also in Switzerland and have a Multi 2011. I have ridden a 2013 and a 1260 and i think mine is too faster,but i would like to ask you also because you had more Multis and you ride properly,so let me know. I have on dyno something like 144whr and the bike is full exhaust,custom map and filter. Really enjoy your videos. Have fun Ilias
@@julianstuder whp sorry. Wheel horse power. I am interested to buy a newer model that’s why I asked you. Because I like the ergonomics from the new ones but I don’t like this new smoother and electric push. I love the raw power of my 2011.
@@i.k.91 ahh ok i just bought 3months ago the latest V2, the 1260S Grand Tour... Its in my opinion the much better bike than the new V4. That one with the QD pipes should have around 175HP. More than enough torque =)
@@julianstuder i thought about 1260 because v4 is a quite new motor and not enough tested with these new modifications. Thanks for your answer It’s probably generally a better bike the 1260 if you compare it with the old 1200 right?
@@i.k.91 its not rocket scince the 1260S from the 1200... the quickshifter is super nice!! the engine a bit smoother and lightly more torque... but as said to mee far better than the new V4,, I have tested the V4 and I did not likd the handling, also torque was not as good as on the V2. To me the 1260S is the best mutistrada ever.... i have to say that I very much liked my 1200 pikes peak from the year 2012.
