The rings doesn't work right for you unless you're of Gilbert blood and you're not a magical being like when Jeremy became the hunter the ring didn't work to bring Jeremy back to life because Jeremy was a hunter and that a magical being . And ring didn't really work for Alaric because his not a Gilbert so that why he was killing people .
Liz's death breaks my heart every time. She looks so much like my own mother. She acts so motherly. She is warm, loving and caring. She is just the most amazing character. I cry every time I watch that scene.
Men can be such dumbasses. After being able to live with himself for doing so many horrible things now Damon's going to decide to break Elena's heart by breaking up with her and letting her go. I hate martyr bulshit. Usually it's Elena being the Martyr. Now he thinks he's sick in her from a bad guy when Ashley he's doing more damage and breaking her heart. Let me tell you a broken heart you feel that pain everywhere and it's hard to breathe.
In the basement Elena's tied down and she can't break her bonds even as a vampire. But for some reason another vampire can easily break them to free her.
And still as new male cast members come on they still all look almost just alike. At least they're getting better looking though. That casting director definitely has a type. It's even more confusing when they all have similar haircuts. I just can't tell one from another most of the time.
Their time jumps are so crazy and confusing.. when did Damon break out of the basement jail and leave Elena behind. And he seems to not know where she is. Very confusing because both of them were in the basement jail together and they didn't show them escape
I would've loved it if Elena just stopped pretending like she's morally superior and embrace murdering innocent people with Damon. That arc would be so great. From a saint to a serial killer. It'd be great if the reason she was attracted to him from the very beginning is that she is deep down exactly like him as a vampire.
jenna john liz dying were some of the most painful ones. john sacrificed himself for elena. liz died of cancer. jenna just randomly became a vampire and got killed. what the heII??? lexi dying was sad, but she was only there for 1 episode so its easy to bare her loss. cant think of anyone else who died tragically

The difference between Damon and Elena is that he knows the actions he takes and the choices he makes are wrong and he doesn’t care, but Elena on the other hand makes it a mission to try and justify them. At least Damon is up front about his wrongdoings, but Elena tries to act like what he does is okay even though deep down, she knows that he’s wrong. Being a psychopathic murderer is one thing, but justifying one is a whole other. She’s just as much of a psychopath as Damon is. Probably even more (to an extent).

Liz was everything to everyone she stood by Damon although he did bad things to bad people and loved her daughter Caroline although she was a vampire and loved Eleanor too and cared about Mat what a great person she was so sad she died
