I am new to axolotls, I've only had mine for about a month. But your videos have been a great source of information. I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful videos, you're the best!
Have you ever tried Dr Tim’s to cycle it in 7 days? I’ve seen lots videos but not for oxilotols! I’m getting a baby so was told start with glass bottom?
When you do a water change Do u need to cycle your tank again Or do u just add your water and do your water test ? How do u balance it before you put your axolotl back into his tank Would like to know before i get one
Why is this video underrated? I have an axolotl a gorgeous natural pink his name is bluey I’ve been doing research on animal testing and animal abuse none of this is okay
My axolotl hasnt eaten in like a month. He looks fine, still swimming around. Colour looks fine. He did eat a huge batch of food and he didnt eat everyday but this is the longest hes never not eaten. Hes like 9 years old
What are signs a worm is bad ? I pulled a worm out to feed before and noticed ir was white at the end. Just didnt like the look so fished out another. Ive been buying from a tackle shop , and just found out live bait at tackle shops can come with diseases ?
Thank you so very much for your kind words, Paula. I am so grateful for support like this, something I'll never take for granted. May your day be just as kind to you 💚🌱✨
Just found your channel. Its easy to listen to you as If listening to a friend. And it's also great to come across a British video . Thank you 😊 I jist got our first axolotl, and it's been a week of anxiety, watching him/her like a hawk 😅
I’m Learning tons from Your videos I’m not watching anyone else’s cuz they teach me other things it makes me crazy and I feel like you Know your axolotls!
I’m new to axolotls, but have had every other type of amphibians and reptiles for 20 years. I got a couple axolotl few weeks ago for my son and they are so cool! I love them. Not sure if this is normal behavior but every time I feed mine when he finishes eating he will dart up to the surface and poke his little head out of the water, almost like he is saying thank you, it’s adorable. Is this normal behavior? I searched online but couldn’t find anything
Hello there!! I’m a new member to your channel. Part of the reason why subscribed is because of your dialogue. I think you are extremely knowledgeable on the subject in which you teach. I also find you funny and I love hearing talk, so thank you for choosing to keep things light and interesting.. if people want to learn about Axolotls without hearing someone talk, then they should just Google it and just read about whatever it is they want to learn about, because RU-vid is a place where you can learn just about anything, and what makes it fun is that you get to listen to humans talk about whatever it is that your trying to learn, and you do a terrific job at doing that. Keep up the good work, I’ll be listening 😊
I started watching your videos for advice on our axolotls, learned quite a bit from them and always enjoyed watching you. I'm sorry to hear about how bad your vision has gotten, absolutely terrible. You do you bud, if you're enjoying it that's all that should matter! I enjoyed this video - didn't even know she made music now, so thank you
Thank you for this comment! I really appreciate it, and I'm so glad to hear my videos have proven somewhat helpful over the years too! Thanks for sticking around and I really hope you continue to enjoy the newer stuff also. 🙌🏼✨
To sum up my last comment i do have a question about feeding, mine is still very shy as everythings new , is it okay to just put the cube in the bowl? Hes a bit scared of earthworms , i had cut up some and put them in the bowl and left him be and he finally came out but by the time i saw him all thwt was left was a weird gutzy glob , but he was standing proud next to the dish so ..i think its going alright? Its always daunting learning how to manage a living creature so different from any other ive had
Lol the irony of people commenting about a video taking too long to "get into it" is it makes it take longer to do so, but the whole video is the getting into it part, people are just super short attention spanned nowadays, and those people shouldnt own complicated axolotl setups in thr first place . (Also...theres this cool ability on youtube where you can fast forward and rewind ) Anyway thanks for this topic, my kids grandparents on my exes side thought theyd show up with an axolotl and tank no warning for a 9 year old girl aka for me to manage, so im trying to do everything i can for the guy , hes shy and has b33n eating, but hes finicky and scared , its only been 4 days , and he went from a tote to a 55 gallon and a new house , water temp is perfectly managed but he wont eat food until like an hour or more later , like ill be about ti come suck it up and hes laying in the bowl slurping them up like a lazy bum lol
Good to see you. Hope your all doing well! I do the same thing here in the Colorado mountains every week when we go and end up filling a bag up of other people's trash too.
Ive been following for a week now, I am glad to have the pleasure of taking a peek into your life and hearing your story. It certainly isnt something i expected trying to learn about axolotls but am very glad you seem to be doing well and getting out.
Aw thankyou for keeping the woodland clean, we dont have much of it left these days! Nice to see you posting, I found you when researching axolotls, just thinking about maybe getting one. Now I have 2 dwarves! We've been through amputation surgery for one and antifungal baths.. thankyou for the knowledge that made me confident enough to take the plunge 😊
