It arrived today and OMG! The quality is over the top! i just love the artwork on the cards. My absolute favorite is the "toaster hypnotized by the bread" one :) The paper package for the cards should be the new standard for every board game.
Cool! I hope you enjoy it very much indeed, and I also personally hope you win against all your friends and family, but only by juuuuust enough that they want to play it again as soon as possible.
I backed the german translation for the expansion and the superhero expansion and i am very excited how it will increase the fun of the game it already give to me... :) i think the spieleschmiede will have it ready in september :) looking forward
After 2 months, Roll camera! has already entered my top 5 co-op boardgames. My friends love this game. My top 5 (in no particular order): Roll, camera! Zombicide Mansions of madness Marvel legendary Fortune & glory Great job guys!
Got this at Essen. My very first purchase. Haven't have time to play it yet but I can already see all the depth that has been added to the base experience. Good work!
I'm so looking forward to receiving my copy! 😁 I have a question regarding the new "Wipe Storyboard" board action: is it intended to be only used with the B-Movies expansion, or does it have a place for the base game?
@@keenbeanstudio Awesome! That's what I thought, it could be a cool option to have when I want to go for a more laid back game ^^ Thanks for the answer!
I managed to get all the expansion components into the base game box, which is terrific! Although I'm not sure I put stuff in the "right" places. Maybe make a short video with a good default for this? :) Anyway, for anybody who might be wondering if it is possible, it is! My first idea was to divide expansion cards from non-expansion cards by putting e.g. the pile of expansion scene cards upside down and base game cards the other way. To make it easier when you want to start the game next time :)
I did make an image for how I like to do it, here: boardgamegeek.com/filepage/243163/b-movie-packing-guide -- now included as a link in the video. Nice idea
Great explanation of the rules and the game components are amazing. One question - should you assign all the dice before taking the actions or do you take the action immediately after assigning to a particular spot? Does it matter? Thank you!
I really felt your pain of having to cut the clipboard idea (1:04:38) even if it had such a fun pun. You got in a lot of other enjoyable details like that, I'm so happy you didn't factor out that enjoyability just because it can sometimes be a difficult constraint to satisfy! Well done!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I wish this was the norm to do, it really helps us aspiring makers gain self-efficacy to keep on keeping on too! Talking through attempts you spent time on because they excited you and why some of them were cut and why. Collaboration with the community and people in your life and how that updated the design. It makes me love the design even more.
Great unboxing - very nice art and graphic design, and some really interesting concepts on the cards. I'm really looking forward to getting this along with the core game. Thank you!
Thanks a lot for this! Amazing work and quality! I know what I'm playing this morning (I printed most of the PNP in draft mode just to sustain me till we get the expansion) :D Can't wait to play using the real elements!
@@keenbeanstudio oh I had no idea you were the designer! I'll be playing roll camera this Saturday, very curious 😊 great that you made such a good instructions video, that will really help with the success of the game :)
hello, I didn’t find your mail to write, so I’ll ask here. I missed the kickstarter and want to pre-order to get the game. as far as I understand $ 50 base and $ 30 extension. delivery to Russia 35 $, but did not understand about the delivery time. tell me when I can get the game if I make an order. Thank you)
One of The Star action is New Side. It has a note says you may not look through the deck first. What does it mean? Aren't the Script cards placed face up?
Yes, the Script cards are placed face up, but in piles of 5 each (top and bottom). During the game you can change the Script, but this particular action does not let you look through those 5 (or 10 total) Script cards before taking the action. Does that make sense?
